Keep in mind that there are some people here who are not what they say they are. There are some that have no idea what they are talking about. There are some that think that there is some big Dom/Master/Sub/Slave manual somewhere that is the gospel; that that is how it is supposed to be done. There are some who will babble on about the "Old Guard" when they weren't even born when Carter was prez. There are some that think that some shitty Sci-Fi books are an operator's manual for M/s. (No, NOT Scientology).
AN ilustration: there was a guy on Bondage.com who held himself out as an expert in training slaves. Some people, especially desperate women who had some bizarre Pervy Harlequin Romance view of relationships, hung on to his every word. Asshole outed himself when he admitted he hadn't had any pussy for TEN years. Hahahaha. That's the kind of douchebags who are giving advice and trolling on sites like this. There are also some seriously sick fucks posing as "Doms", "Masters", and so on, who target Newbies. Women in their 40s and 50s seem to be particularly vulnerable. Those "men" also set themselves up as experts.
My point is, little Brother, do it your own way. Find out what your comfort zone is. Find out what your needs (as opposed to wants) are. Find your own path, and don't let anyone tell you there's some kind of dumb-assed "Protocol". When you find her, you'll know, and you'll work it out.
