Status: offline 		Based on DomiGuy's "group of white people," and Thompson's response to me, "Thats very white of you." ... I have decided to tell a short story I wasn't brave enough to tell before, and then make a short proclamation statement.
 
I dated someone for a while ... six weeks, give or take. You couldn't go to Starbucks for a coffee with this guy, without him bringing up his race, and using words and terms like slavery, oppression, back of the bus, whitey this and whitey that. He was a fucking boring guy to date, looking back at it. One evening we were at a casual wine bar with a few of his friends, and politics came up. Me, who offline (believe it or not) rarely says much of anything, casually mentioned that I was still undecided, but was leaning towards Senator Clinton. You know, that instantly heated things up and within ten minutes of the start of that conversation, with me adding all of maybe three words, someone called me a racist. I excused myself to use the ladies room, and hit 222-2222 until a cab showed up.
 
The next day, the guy called me, and he was pissed ... seriously pissed. He told me I was a typical white girl who didn't want to be seen with a black man, and seemed somewhat unwilling to accept the notion that since we dated for six weeks, that might be a bit illogical. Within the scope of his rant about evil white girls, he managed to ask me why I just left. I told him I didn't appreciate his friends coming down on me like that, and appreciated even less, him sitting there allowing it. His response floored me ... he told me that now I got a little taste of what it was like to be a black person.
 
Well, enough was enough ... so I decided to have a little indignation of my own. I told him that he was a graduate student at Rice University, drove a Porche, and that you could play tennis in his parent's living room. I told him be belittled everyone that has really suffered, by claiming that suffering for himself .. when he was really just a whiney rich kid.
 
Now ... for anyone that lived through that boring story (and you have my apologies for a major rant) ... the statement.
 
I'm no longer white ... period. From this moment forward, I'm officially "pre-summer tan" light bronze ... soon to be "post-summer tan" dark bronze.
 
I have no race. My only race is the race to graduation in May, and the race to the clubs every night, all summer long.
 
So for all you wannabe racists out there, keep your white, honky, cracker, comments to yourself ... or pick some actual white people to sling them at. From now on ... I'm just Bronze Irish.

I grew up next to an Indian reservation as a kid, and I was reminded DAILY what color I was.........yeah I GET IT.....I"M WHITE......thanks. Hahahaha  Racism goes both ways, that is all I've ever learned, it's pretty pathetic to get all wrapped up over pigment. And yes I'm sure I'll be flamed and reminded of all the atrocities committed etc, so forth. Well for those folks- Kiss my ass, I was born white, and I have never participated in genocide OR slavery(other than with sub women.....lol but I digress)

I forgot to denounce a few things, including all the wonderful frivaledges (typo intended) I used to get, just for being formally white ... like that biological father in prison in California for selling coke to a DEA agent, and that junky stripper biological mother I haven't seen since I was twelve. OK ... been drinking a little too much ... enough pity party for one night.

Status: offline 		Good for you, Rule. I thought I was that way too until I was noticing a fine black girl tonight at a restaurant though... and she was noticing me... and I did see her color (which surprised me) but what I saw was nice.

I don't care what color someone is, but I don't like a bad attitude, as caitlyn was describing.

Status: offline 		ive had the same sort of issues with people in my highschool/town(thank god it doesnt seem to have followed me past that..yet..). you know, by saying that all white people were your oppressors doesnt take into account that OTHER people were equally or more oppressed than you were. what about MY family, which was eradicated thanks to a psychopath in germany..maybe youve heard of that...been mentioned a few times...do i bring up the race card to every german i see? hell no..why? because it was their ancestors mistakes, not theirs. most of them are good people who dont care one way or another if im jewish or not(theres always the neonazi freak, but hey..bad apple in any group)(also, i could keep going about the groups that were oppressed and massacred...but that would be a hellova long rant if i did)

what bugs me the most, is when they use it as a weapon against other people when they want to be brats...a teacher is hastling them because they arent taking their hats off in the hallway "oh, youre racist!"...a teacher actually makes them follow rules of self conduct in the building "OH YOURE RACIST!". even better, when they talk about how oppressed their ancestors were and all that and how life is now difficult is for them...and they live in a mansion and will get a free ride through life from mommy and daddy. your situation is not as unique as you think it is..its just the most documented in this country and has the loudest annoying protesters that keep it going(al sharpten, anyone?...seriously..i think if everyone just one day decided "hey! lets just..love one another!" he would be out of a job like *THAT*!) i wonder what people would make of a group of armaniens or jews that started making the same sort of fuss about their situations? sure, it wouldnt be so clearly color coded, but hell i know it would work.

as a final statement, i would also like to point out that if you consider geography and populations...white people make up probably 50% or more of the worlds population...there are more "white" dominated countries and continents than any other race. why does it REALLy surprise anyone that we seem to "dominate" everything? opportunities will NEVER be equal, because the population numbers arent equal(this is color wise, of course...the gender thing is a totally different screwed up topic)

I am not saying a word about this except to say that I am not really White.  I have white skin but that is it. My Father explained it to me, we are Polacks, but Poland used to be Persia I guess and that used to be Aryanna, something like that. I might not have it all quite right but it boils down to this. My race is not defined as White. Most of us have white skin but really that is not the point.

Mine is a harmonious race that doesn't bother others much. We make our own way in the world and in my family, large gifts frome Uncles or Aunts are disallowed. My Uncles were not even allowed to bail out each other's kids. If my Dad ever caught me telling someone "My Dad can kick your Dad's ass" he would kick my ass. And I understand why.

I was never White, even though my skin is white. I have been passing for a long time though.

Actually I lived advantage as well as disadvantage because of that. If I give you my name and the school I went to, there is most likely still a police report about me taking scissors to school. And I mean BIG scissors, the kind you can kill someone with. This gang of black skinned kids were fucking with me.

I fucked back, and if I didn't my Father would lose faith in me. Actually my Mother as well. You talk the talk, then walk the walk.

That is what I was taught friends, and I do not forget it. In a way that is the mentality of the jungle, but have you looked around lately ?

I ain't White either. That is all there is to it.

They are some nasty assed people to deal with aint they. whoof.

We used to go back durring the summers. Do not let the red hair fool ya.. it is a bottle color.. it is usualy a more natural shade then the pict..

and I fit in.. but my blonde sis and naturaly really red head brother didnt.. they would get the shit beat out of them each and every summer. it almost made up for them beathing the shit out of me all year long. almost.

I'm Scots-Irish, so I am a Ulster Scot I think they call it.  From what I have read, that's Anglo-Celtic.  I don't really think about it too much.  I just know my ancestors came here in the 1700s from Ulster and they settled in the Appalachians.  So I am a hillbilly, LOL.

So you didn't even bother looking at the map of Prussia I posted for you, did you? The one that showed that much of what is now Poland was Prussia? You know, Germanic white people? In Europe? You know where Europe is, right?You really think Poles aren't white? All those blonde-haired, blue-eyed people in Warsaw are black or chinese?

I think you should join Flame-on or Bondage.com/The Hate Tank. I'm moderated here but I'm not there. Those two places I can say exactly what's on my mind. That would take a lot of courage, going where there's no moderation and defending yourself. You're a dom though, you can handle it, right?
