I no longer wonder...I know I don't belong here. I mean it's a beautiful planet to visit ( parts of it), so far, but I wouldn't want to live here.

Being described by my family my whole life as the "weird one", I would say yes. Most definitely. I would venture to guess that many of us here would describe ourselves as misfits or eccentric or marching to the beat of a different drummer.

So lets applaud all of us that have had the courage to be ourselves and to seek our bliss at all cost.

Hi, I'm Angelblue and I do not belong on this planet..Not every one is tough enough to be in this club mostly because club membership comes with a tin foil hat to protect from governmental brain sucking rays, padded room and personality morphing drugs.... but I feel that it is everyone else who is screwed up and if you are the normie living in an urban box, not connected with the real and unreal around you  then I vote are the wrong one... wake up, open your eyes, ears, inner child etc and go dance in the rain- I would rather be locked up than tied down to one reality where everything is an understood fact and no one questions the regime of blah

I have not procreated.  So I am an outsider looking in.

I can relate to this. I hear/read of the experiences of others and wonder, “when did they find the time”; tends to exclude me from a lot of conversations.

I think its normal to feel you dont belong here... shrugs*
We (our spirits) arent from here... so we long for home.
We are a dichotomy of human+gravity and spirit. An infusion...
Also, i feel you have 'gifts' (nope cant be returned or exchanged, i wish sometimes we could.) that you dont know how to use yet. People who see and hear things or know, beyond the 3rd dimensional, arent crazy. They are more 'open'.
Of course you can think things and make them happen... giggles* silly humans...

Thank you so much, NG; a voice of reason.

Interestingly, your thoughts on positive and negative, are one’s I have came to the same conclusion on.

I wonder why I keep over looking it; perhaps because it has not been very long, since I found the solid ground to build my beliefs on. Hopefully it will sink in soon.

Your words also reminded me that everything has purpose.

When I start thinking the way I was earlier; I am in a sense saying, I have no purpose? In turn it would imply the creator I believe in, also has no purpose? I have just canceled out everything then, haven’t I?

Ooooo, naughty pet.

Second thought, not so naughty, I was just feeling overwhelmed.

I thought this thread would help; it has. :)

I look at it this way, the world is run by these "normal" people, look around you and this world is the consequence of that thinking(politics, conflict, corruption, etc.). "Normal" people have a lot to account for, some good, mostly bad. However, I 100% assure you if everyone was abnormal like me there would be no wars, there would be no starvation, there would be less suffering. I don't see much to envy in the "Normal".

I just realized why I despise government.

It reminds me of my parents as a kid; always telling me what I could and couldn’t do, regardless of my capabilities. Blaming me for their decisions and wondering why I responded to it the way I did. All the while doing exactly what they were telling me not to.

I think it’s time to ditch the folks; again.

I wouldn't be ashamed to be non-"normal", it's a low bar, I'd shoot myself in the head if I ever aspired to "normal".

Kirren -> RE: Do you ever get the feeling… (3/23/2008 10:31:56 PM)

When our inner worlds are off kilter, when we as humans, beings, spirits, souls, do not feel needed or wanted, it tends to throw the whole rest of our existance off kilter as well.
I think at some point all of us, every person, every thing on this planet has felt as if it didnt belong...as if something better and bigger was waiting...some part of us was or is meant to do somthing or be something different.

It used to be for Me, when I would get angry, or feel like I needed to be strong, I would get the feeling of almost stepping out of My skin. I dont think thats exactly what I mean to say...to put it better, it was like I was ripping out, or something was ripping Me open. Taking the anger, the negativity and embracing it. People around Me would say that I walked differently, I talked differently, and I looked different in My eyes. As if it was clear that I was not approachable, that I could, and would happily shred some one and make them hurt as I seemed to hurt, or make My rage into hurt.

Ive been to therapy....Ive been told I have everything from a borderline personality disorder to ADD....which I often joke about....because I do get side tracked...but the fact is, noone knows for sure what it is. Anger, hurt...what ever. My father was an alcholic, My mother was an abusive drug adict. I grew up being either invisible, or being things that no child should ever be told that they are.

Sometimes I have dreams of things....and they are so real...I swear that they have happened to Me...and as laughable as this is...even to Me...you tell Me how some one who has never held a sword, or killed anyone, can tell you the exact feel and sound of gutting some one with a sword or taking some ones head off with a sword?

What Im getting at is...and I know the assholes that lurk these boards will have a mouth full to say on this thread....I hope they get mange or gangrene....some of us are special....we dont know why...maybe we never will. But I think that you will, and when I say you, I mean who ever is reading this, will find what that purpose is....

If its guiding the mother ship...if its chopping up people....if its weaving baskets...a person, the very core of a person feels lost when they feel that they have no purpose....once you find that purpose the rest will fall into place.

Like you don’t belong here? And when I say here, I mean this planet.

I've always had a feeling that I don't belong, period.  I don't know if it's to the era, the region, the planet, the species, et cetera, but it's always been there.  However, I've always thought that there's got to be other people out there who also just don't have a proper place.

The best way I can describe it is by pulling a scene out of Schindler's List.  The movie's done in black and white with the exception of one scene, where a little girl is running down the street and wearing a vibrant red coat.  It's a stark contrast to the monochromatic scene.  It's kind of like that for me... not that I "physically see" things in black and white with exceptions.  It's almost like I see it, but I'm not seeing it.  I hope that makes sense to someone, because it goes on in my own brain and I don't even get it.

(Oh, and in the next paragraph, I should probably point out that I'm using the 'red coat' figuratively and not literally.  Don't call the men in the white coats yet.)

Anyway, I "see" myself as wearing a red coat.  Sometimes I "see" other people as wearing a red coat, too.  I've mentioned previously on these boards my intense aversion to other people... well, that aversion disappears for the other people in red coats.  They're the only people I can get close to or feel any kind of affection or compassion for -- and I don't consider them to wear the coat BECAUSE I feel comfortable with them.  I feel comfortable with them because they've got the coat.

Bizarre, eh?  I honestly do not get it.  I've stopped really trying to figure it out and just kind of go with it now.

More often then not what I wonder is if there really is a reason anyone of us are here I would hate to think it really all was just a huge coinsidence and there really is no purpose.

when I get this way I eat IceCream and everything gets better again.

You know, I never understood why I hand-colored that photograph the way I did until you said that.  Now I wonder what my subconscious is trying to tell me.

The existence of patterns in all things indicates, all things have purpose.

Time it's self is a lesson.

Now see, I can think of three purposes for ice cream; feel good food; a delicious cold treat, on a hot summer day; or, a delicious torture device for an unsuspecting “s” type. :)

When I look at your avatar, I get the sense of irrelevance from the background. It’s there but pretty much lifeless. I find it interesting you chose a black gown. If It were a colorful background I would sense mysterious passion, but on a dark background, it implies; emptiness.

The color in the face suggest there is still passion left, though it appears to be a fairly small flame, but one that still burns very bright at its core. Perhaps being reserved.

Do you often feel like you are “going through the motions”?

Curiously,

Charmed, hello.

I have been trying to recreate a neighborhood where we were a "community"  -  you know wander on over and hang with th neighor.  In a short time I have made progress.

on the sex orientation thing-  renting and jobs are where that hinders.   renting cos one can be eveicted.  jobs cos one can be fired. it is worse with jobs. i seldom mix work and pleasure.  work is a dog fight as it is.... let alone to get riddled in religion, morals or society thresholds.     especially the politics that go on at work.   if you dont side with person A, then you are a bad mafkker- and surely in bed with person B.   many times- i had stated , "i am here to xxxx"   always refering to my jopb duties and description.
when the house note ishanging on eveyr minute of work- it makes the job harder- especially when every nickle is needed for bills.

so at 44- i am more together now.

there are many times when the mob stupidity is a mode to go into autopilot- as the clowns are not worth the salt on my tears.
