wankerforuse -> What annoys you about other peoples behaviour in the society that we live in today? (3/23/2008 7:32:56 PM)

Many things annoy me here are just a few.Having to always watch/think about what im saying to someonelse,so as not to offend that person with whom im talking to.In our politically correct society of which we all a part of,and not be able to say what is really on my mind cause i'd probablly end up in court or jail ahhhhh! And they tell us we live in a land of free, with free speach i think not lol.

Queques also annoy me as it's such a waste of precious time.Immigrants annoy me,cause they always go on about how hard they are done out of pocket by our goverment.Well go home i say then to all you immigrants,as they are taking all the British jobs away from the British people anyway. As someone who is born in this country is now finding it very hard to find work. And not only that but they place these immigrants on the top of the council housing list, while leaving there own countrymen to pay excessive amounts in rent each week. Also Englishmen and women who are homeless are overlooked when it comes to council homes which is a disgrace.

Also i dispise arrogance, ignorant people, men who always boast of sexual encounters or are who are always talking about sex i just can't stand at all as they really annoy me.Boy racers, aswell as people who hunt animals for fun i dispise such people.Aswell as the Japanese whaling fleet i hate. But that's enough about me now, what please are a list of some of the things that annoy you?thanks very much indeed to anyone who replies here.

Well in the US, how people drive. They drive like drunk teenagers, and the fuckheads do it with their kids in the car. They have to get out in front. Me first me first. Get out of my way, twelve seconds of my times is worth more than all ten of you people's lives. Get out of the way, don't you know that I paid for this highway, get the fuck out of my way. Oh look there's an asshole trying to get on my highway, I'll just pull up on the car in front of me and ride it's ass like five inches away, this asshole isn't getting in front of me. No way.

So I rearended an asshole, dammit, now the cop is talking to me. "The guy swerved in on me, couldn't stop, it's his fault I rearended him". Cop looks at me and says "He said he got on at 152nd, which is four entrances back from here". "He's full of shit" then the cop says "He lives on 153rd". Oh fuck, here's my courtesy card and license and insurance.

Son of  a bitchin mother fucker, he made me run late, it's all his fault. Now I am probably have to go to court to sue this asshole I slammed into because I was in a hurry because this schmuck held me up, threw me off schedule. Don't these other cars know how valuable my time is ?

My lawyer is going to tear this guy a new asshole, he is going to pay for the whole front clip on my car, and a little something for pain and suffering, and emotional distress. It's all his fault. Now my olady might get on my case brcause we can't go to Disneyland and if I get divorced because of this asshole I will kick his ass.

That's whatcha got out there. These people exist all over the place, and there are alot of them. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually people, but I am not the one to say.

I can't stand people that think it is their moral obligation to decide how others should feel sexually. Don't tell me I am part of a disease because I believe people have the right to choose who they love.
I also can't stand people that will block the aisle of the parking lot for ten minutes while someone unloads there parcels into the car so they can park closer to the front. It won't kill you to walk a little bit fat ass, try it sometime!!!
I absolutely hate the jackasses that have made Flavor Of  Love such a popular program. How many times can a house full of fugly skankerellas be entertaining?

The latter part has been preying on my mind a lot since the beginning of last week. A woman got on the train with her young daughter, the daughter had a 'drawn' face, no joy there whatsoever and whenever she spoke it was in a really whiny manner... it was obvious that she'd gotten used to being ignored frequently and then, when spoken to, was done so in a scolding manner by the mother, so the child became accustomed to talking using a whiny tone to get attention. I found it incredibly saddening, I lost count of the times I heard, "Shut up, I'm tired." So, yes, abusive/neglectful parents are high on my list, too.

Ignorance of all kinds bothers me. Whether it be a woman being stoned to death for some perceived infraction against some "god" or someone throwing their trash on the ground when there is a perfectly good trash recepticle a couple of feet away. Yeah ignorance, it annoys me.

LadyEllen -> RE: What annoys you about other peoples behaviour in the society that we live in today? (3/24/2008 5:36:08 AM)

40mph drivers

Through residential streets - 40 mph
Past the primary school at chucking out time - 40 mph
On the main road with no one in front of them - 40 mph

Speed kills - as we're told repeatedly on the TV. Yes it does - I will wager right now that most accidents are caused by these 40mph freaks, who drive too fast in town and not fast enough on the open road - causing those behind to take stupid risks to get past them.

And whats odd? These are the same people who simply cannot comprehend how a roundabout works. Its so simple if one thinks about it - except I seriously doubt these people have any capacity for thinking about anything but their own little world, and how many more Kelloggs vouchers they need to save up to get their semi-trailer licence to add to their car licence, also from Kelloggs.

And it usually these same people who will have kids in the back, with no car seats and no effort even to get them to sit. Yes, I grew up in the 70s and we never used seatbelts or car seats - but the roads were much less crowded back then. And of course, the obligatory collection of either cushions on the rear shelf or assemblage of cuddly toys.

Them and the nightly parade of boy racers, whose exhausts breach every regulation going on noise controls (and no doubt emissions too), who must run through a set of tyres every week and who, despite their self bestowed status as F1 drivers cant make a simple turn into a junction without taking out the safety beacons. And whose vehicles are likely in requirement of new struts and rear suspension too, since they are overloaded with speakers whose "musical" emissions consist of a drum beat of a volume sufficient to put the entire gathered Zulu nation to shame and which is only exceeded by the screech of tyres and roaring exhaust pipes.

So yet again, its the stupid and the ignorant who annoy me. If only we could reintroduce removal to some far flung outpost of Empire for such people. Even Australia is fussy these days over who gets in, though that would be an ideal place; so much room out there that it wouldnt matter how poor our drivers are.

People who walk on the right hand side of the pavement and people with umbrellas, i could rant for  pages on these things but i wont. Oh and dropping litter.

kittinSol -> RE: What annoys you about other peoples behaviour in the society that we live in today? (3/24/2008 6:42:30 AM)

What annoys me is people who blame immigrants for their own shortcomings.

LadyEllen -> RE: What annoys you about other peoples behaviour in the society that we live in today? (3/24/2008 6:42:44 AM)

Now - no one drops litter.

Having carefully observed this phenomenon, it is clear that the litter falls of its own accord. For example, the crisp bag (chips for our US friends). The diner holds the bag, removes the crisps and consumes them. When the contents of the bag are consumed, the bag ceases to exist in the mind of the diner as much as its former contents have ceased to exist. The diner therefore no longer need hold the bag (since it no longer exists) - the hand is opened, and the bag falls of its own accord for the observer, whilst for the diner nothing falls (or is dropped) since there is nothing in his hand.

Having observed this phenomenon over a long period, the time is now ripe for funding for a close neural examination of such diners, to discover the processes which produce this behaviour, and in particular the illusion that the bag once emptied no longer exists. Contributions towards vital resources for this research are welcomed, as is advice on how best to undertake the neural examination - my current proposed methods are suspected as not being necessarily in accord with best practice with regard to ethics or legality by the other researchers. To my mind however, holding such specimens over a drain and examining the brain though the removal of part of the cranial structure with a 9mm handgun, seems a most efficient method.

Now I may have misread this, so I am sorry if I did but I am guessing that it annoys you too?
