It varies with my girl. If I've suggested something that easy for her, she'll find something that works. If it's harder, it takes a while. Usually, it's just a statement of, "girl, you need to be doing X in your life if you want to feel/get Y." Eventually, she works out what kind of X works. For example, I've told her she needs to find a way to center and ground herself all by herself rather than relying on other people to help her. I told her that, oh, a year ago, I think. I've mentioned it again several times. About two weeks ago, she came to me all excited about a meditation course she's interested in. I'm not sure she even equates this with what I said or if my suggestion/guidance has just finally sunk in. Pushing on my girl by demanding that she do something isn't the best way to lead her. Having her feel that she has had an active role in finding something that works for her on a personal level is. I CAN insist, however, if I feel she really needs it. I have, in fact, done this and it helped her work through an issue. But, in general, it means more if she comes up with it. I think that made sense. Master Fire
