as an UM, my folks got a house built in 1904, they meant to rebuild it and we are studied up on the era in was made. i read that girls sent to finishing schools were taught to swim in an odd fashion, without water. they had suspended devices where a leather strap went arround the girl's mid torso, and she learned the motions of swimming while keeping her limbs and torso horizontal.

seems like a form of torture to me. rigorous training, leather, suspention.

i don't know any great deal on how Victorian lifestyles work, so, is this anywhere in the Vic/BDSM ballpark?

Master IronBear, here on collarme, is a Victorian Master and runs a House that is Victorian, among other things. He has alway been kind to me, so perhaps writing Him an email may help with some questions
