I was just curious if anyone has seen where this item or something similar may be purchased.

I have never seen anything quite like this although I have been thinking of something similar as a fantasy.  I would very much like to buy one if anyone knows where they are sold.  Thank you for your help

I think there's only one of those, after some googling I found that it was made by Philippe Meste, who also does watercolors with semen. O.o

*Hey Mom! I made you this painting!*

Ill pass on the painting, but yum at the cast, the only place Ive seen something similar is the body cast at the "House of Gord" Website, I dont think he sells his wonderful items, but it might be worth it to have a look and get some ideas. Body casting seems to be a popular idea with a few of the gents here, ( I like the fantasy/look/idea, but have zero tech knowledge)
Have fun and if you find anything? please let me know? grins

The item in the links was done as an art installation... not sure if it's for sale, but i think there's just the one. As far as i know, no one is making anything like that commercially, because the production would just be too labor intensive... Very tasty, though.

You could probably use a bunch of vet wrap to lock a person in such a position for a long term.  Watch the body temp though as it may creep up.

Ohhh really?  Do tell.  I haven't seen anything like that on Gord's Site and I'm a huge fan.  Is there a direct link so that I could see and get some ideas?

Since no one is actually making items like this to sell, I suppose I will have to work on my crafting skills.  I'm not really sure how that was made so I will have to venture a guess at which type of crafting to learn.  I'm really into the wrapping and mummification scene, but the actual being wrapped does nothing for me... it's the end result I enjoy.  A shell that someone could be put into with some sort of hasps (like those on a guitar case or maybe like the ones on those cheap tackle boxes) would be perfect.

something like that is not impossible to build, given the right submissive
lots of patience, holding still for hours on end, luckely for me both my submissive are same height and shape

would take me apprx 1 week to build, with some white plaster and lots of fiberglass, some body filler and lots and lots sanding, prime & painting

the real question is, would i really get that much use out of it, and in the end will it become clutter in my dungeon, but it would make for some interesting visual effect
eye candy for my guest

The moment I saw the pic with the model laying on the bottom half of the mold I thought *bingo* & *omg* that looks so comfortable. But having to be still while the molding process is going on um, not so much on the comfort factor.

There would have been a body cast made in the fiberglass wrap used for broken bones, quick setting, and then other casts negative and positive to work from. Fine artists work from industrial materials and don't expect models to stay still forever.

If there's a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture degree offered at a university near you there's a possibility you could commission one. Or a practicing sculptor might do it, but in both cases there may be resistance to copying a work. On the other hand- student overhead is lowest and they know how to do it properly. This doesn't look like fiberglass, but PVC.
And yes- it does look like fun!

nice !!!!   It is made using epoxy and would be impossible to mass produce since not every one is built the same

Hmmmmmmmm I cant find it at the moment Sara, gimme a couple of days, I know it was a set I downloaded when I was a member of the site a couple of years ago, I will let you know if I find it :)
Another site you might look at is JGLeathers, he has some amazing stuff too, way out of my league, but yummmmmmmmy.
Wouldnt it be easier to use plaster bandages to get the shell? would take a steady hand to cut off,  but at least you could use it for a base for a heavier mould? As I say, no tech knowledge here, just some hot fantasies.

when you open the google site, above where you type in what you're looking for there's a set of links, click on "images" and type in what you want to look for.

Yes, I had planned all along to make the initial, negative mold out of plaster and then use that one to make a positive mold.  I'm having trouble figuring out what to make the positive mold out of so that I can create this plastic or fiberglass shell.  If anyone here knows much about it, I would love to hear some ideas about what would be a good medium to use to for this purpose.

I have spent quite a lot of time on JGLEathers' site.  He has some really fascinating gear.  Too bad he doesn't do commissioned work.  If I had the combined knowledge of JGLeathers and Gord, I would sell my work (after thorough testing, of course).  I don't think I would use that as a primary source of income, but it would be fun and satisfying to be able to create and sell devices like that.   I'm sure some of the people on CM would buy them.

The complex shape makes it very tricky to do as a traditional mold. i think your best bet would be to build the initial cast out of medical fiberglass casting material, bivalve it to get the bottom out, then apply regular fiberglass over the top of the medical cast to strengthen it and give it a smooth finish. The end result will be a bit thicker than what the artist created here, but without seeing it in person, i just can't figure out how they did it. i mean, look at that well-defined ass cleavage! That is definitely an artist's touch i almost wonder if they used the type of thermoplastic that they make orthopedic braces out of, i'm just not sure how you can fuse the individual pieces together.

To form it, i'd probably have them lay with their head and arms hanging off the edge of a table, do the arms and shoulders; then have them sit in a chair and do the legs just past the knees, then get down on the floor to do the torso and upper legs. Use plastic wrap to keep the casting material off of the body, rather than cast padding, so that it will be nice and snug.

See I knew Dave would have a clue:) ...personally I dont like fibre glass, altho the last time I played with any was about 30 years ago when my dad made me a canoe and I got the WORST infection from the damn stuff, but they obviously have made strides in that, its just a personal ick. I would love to have details on any ideas you come up with regarding a cast and Im still looking for the particular casting job that Mr Gord did and will mail them when I find them. IM pretty sure that there are a few others here who have some wicked ideas tooo, gotta love CM and you wonderful pervs

Me toooooo but im a total dork in making stuff.....they start out ok, then they get an identity crisis and refuse to conform. meh:)

One possibility   on making , you need  a good model  who would loke her own custom body cast, as their would be several hours  over a course of days  holding a position. even if it means putting up with muscle cramos  and an acceptance that getting up to go pee is out of the question during the hardening process

start by coating your model in latex to protect the skin, then use a product such as this clay  to make the shell  http://www.monstermakers.com/product/apoxie-sculpt.html    making only the upper half first   the model will likely have to stay in position   12 hours  or more hours till the material sets up enough to remain firm  and buckle when lifted off  will have to cut the latex to help remove   there may be faster setting  epoxy clays available than this one    but it allows you to feather blend in additions to it  , and has a hardness to allow sand and tooling,     to create the underside   you will need to work on sponge or sand to support the back of the shell  while the model lays in the shell again need to put rubber latex on your model  , you will need you kind of material  to prevent the new application from sticking to the original bottom half inorder to get your model out of the shell, possibly saran wrap would work... but sticking her in the bottom half is necessary inorder to have her in the correct position to create the top half, again this process will take several hours  waiting time for the set up of the clay.    the actual breast area  you may want to do in a  third application  this time feather blending the clay into the bottom half,  the reason for this is  laying on your backside cause the breast too far on the sides of the body    so  the molding of the breast area should be created in the kneeling position.    A clay such as this is quite hard  and can be drilled for hinges and hasps, the holes can be cut and filed till smooth where as  plaster would be too weak   and would crumble and crack after a while so not durable  and would need to be applied quite thickly so would be very heavy and sanding and smoothing the surface  would not work all that well
