Status: offline 		Hello all, I'm young and inexperienced and very eager to explore my sexual desires. I have been looking around for chastity devices, as I want to sort of train myself for my future to come, and it seems ridiculous that for I will admit well designed piece of plastic with a padlock, is $170. I know there might be some deals where you can them as low as say $120, but it is a piece of plastic, with a padlock....

Are there any alternative methods to possibly making your own chastity device, has anyone done this before and willing to help?

I know you have to play to play, or in my case, pay to not play, but cmon.... ;)

Status: offline 		I'm not a Mistress but I'm a sub who sometimes  plays with chastity.  Its been like a personal game to see how long I can go, no real goal or purpose other then how long can I torture myself.

I have a hate/hate affair with chastity devices and prefer to rely on the will of my mind.  In other words my hands don't wander down my pants without my brain first telling them to.  The cheapest and most effective IMHO chastity device is first and formost your desire and will.

Status: offline 		the best chastity device is the mind.  the sheer torture of knowing you want to, seeing it there right in front of you just begging to be touched, and knowing you are under orders not to.  do you disobey and lie to your dominant?  or do you follow orders and please the dominant and prove something to yourself about will?  tough choices for some i suppose.

Status: offline 		OMFG!!!  What's the big deal?  Ok, i like my pecker.  He and i get along pretty well, we have our chats and on occasion i'll even take him out for a spin.  i'm not like mister uber self-control, but i don't have a problem keeping my hands away from mister winkie.  Yes, he gets upset with me when i trim to close or when i read too much Laurell K Hamilton without giving him some attention, just as i get angry about his odd and inconvenient sleeping habits; but aside from the occasional detour, i drive.

i can understand using a chastity device uinder the orders and direction of another, but what's the point when the key is mine.  As far as getting used to it for an unknown future dominant, read a thread; they're a hot commodity and you'll likely not get one any time soon.  You'll be getting all kinds of practice, but i think if she wants to put you in chastity; maybe she would prefer that you're not use to it and wants to see you struggle and sweat.

Status: offline 		Just shell out the money...do you really want to homemake some crude device and then it turn out be unsafe and you end up maiming yourself as a result? I haven't heard of any accidents happen with a CB3000 or a CB6000.

I dunno, some homemade stuff can really kick ass. My friend and I are in the process of fabricating a female chastity belt out of steel bars... It's going to have hinges.. removable links (like a watch?) to adjust to different subbies... Yum!

*edit* I'm definitely no expert at male chastity stuff, but isn't there a way to tie up the cock? I know I saw something about it in this Atlanta Bound thing I'm going to this weekend. Maybe you could look into something like that. O.o

Status: offline 		Two piercings and a padlock is probably the easiest (and most direct) way to go about it.

Beyond that, string works really well - either just around your soft cock (which would keep it from expanding) or also tied down around your balls (which would also keep it aimed downwards).  Some water-soluble glue coating it would also keep you from easily untying it.

Lots of ways to do it for DIY inspired players.
