I posted this in another section of collarme but felt it should stand alone as perhaps there are submissives here looking for this actual information.

The original post was that submissives have to make a great deal of efforts to attract a Domme while the Domme puts forth little to no effort. Here is my reply and information to assist the submissive in his/her quest...

The effort FemDommes make is different than that of a submissive - that is not in question - but FemDommes DO have to make efforts. Consider that the average FemDomme receives anywhere from 20 to 2000 emails in a month - going through each one looking for that one elusive partner that fits a very specific need takes time and energy. Where as a submissive will go through 20 to 2000 profiles to find that Domme, we have to screne that same number of emails.

FemDommes rarely look through profiles - they just don't have the time. But that doesn't mean that a submissive shouldn't have a profile - quite the contrary - if we read an email that strikes our fancy then we will look at the profile that goes with it. If the profile is informative (and includes a photo of your face) odds are you will get a response. If the profile is empty and no photo - odds are your email will end up deleted.

Here are some things to keep in mind in order to help us FemDommes find you.

If a submissive sends a cut and paste template email most likely it will end up deleted and not responded to... it's not personal enough.

If you send a one liner about how beautiful she is, she probably wont respond - obviously you are just interested in her looks and not her.

Make the note personal and mention something in our profile that appealed to you and why. We are human and enjoy knowing that you liked our profile over all the others out there. We shouldn't feel like "just another domme" in your email - we should feel uniquely desireable to you.

Don't beg/grovel or sound desperate - desperate subs are scary and most FemDommes wont bother with them.

Sound confident but humble (think of a Knight approaching a lady - respectful but he is never less of a man). Spelling and grammar DOES count! An email like this looks unintelligent and rude wont get a response "u r hot! i want to srve u" - get real guys!

Even if you desire humiliation don't bother looking for it in that first email - the humiliation is the empty email box you have at the end of the day - don't expect a reply.

It isn't that hard to get a reply - it just takes sincerity.

One last note - if you don't get a reply - move on. Some women lack manners too.

Hi MistressKay,

Nice post, and I pretty much agree with you. Treat the woman as a woman, an indivdual not just some ambulatory sex doll. Be respectfull, honest, and don't demand anything regardless of her Ds status.

Oh, and " One last note - if you don't get a reply - move on. Some women lack manners too. " and some women get offended when you ignore the advice above, so don't get pissed for being ignored if you were a wanker.

I strongly agree with all that Mistress Kay has written, and emphasize the part about filling out your profile.
It doesn't take that long to fill out a thoughtful profile, but it greatly improves a guy's chances.
