7) Ejector seat in a helicopter - This was actually being worked on in the 70's [side or bottom eject or top eject after releasing main rotar]

8) Powdered water - Have seen cans of this.

too bad we sold the rights to the french - they will find a way to market these dumb inventions and sell them back to us at an amazingly inflated price.
