As a former Mistress I can say that I "seemed" perfect to many, but only because they projected their thoughts and desires onto me. Face it, honey - we're all human and human means imperfect. You might have done everything perfectly right but simply not met that person's needs. (Hey, I can't wear high heels so I fell out of the 'perfect' range right there.) Don't let it get you down. There are at least 10 subs to every Domme. You will find someone that you really click with without much problem.

The thing that makes a rare diamond both exquisite and memorable is not so much the perfection of the gem, which can be created in a lab, but the imperfections which make it unique and identifiable, and, in one case or another, dictate how it should be best displayed. not every setting will serve to enhance that perfection or imperfection.

Any sub that expects me to be the perfect Domina will be sadly disappointed. It does give my confidence a little shock every time some jerk of a boy tells me I'm too nice to be a real Domme. Then I remind myself that there are plenty of boys who value my gentle touch as much as my firm one. Once I get over the initial downer, I am more than happy to let those fools self-select themselves out of my life.
