Actual plans are a week at a lovely cottage up on Blue Mountain Lake in NY stage.

I'd find someplace closer that can be driven to and spend the airplane money on a hotel/restaurant upgrade.

And if we win the lottery, I want to go to the Poconos and sleep in a heart shaped bed. But those places are a fortune.

After a 2 week trip to my home town (phoenix, az) I will be headed to Heidelberg, Germany the last week in april- I'm all excited but God I hope it isn't freezing!

I'd go to England, stay with a friend there (to save money), take a lot of pictures of the architecture then maybe a quick trip to France to visit Chopin's grave.

Okay, perhaps I was being a bit too vague. If you were ME, living in central California, and you wanted to go somewhere, and you didn't have big bucks but you could do a plane ticket and a cheap hotel (if necessary), where would you go?

Having lived outside of Fresno for a few years, I can say that Vegas would be cheap, Baja California would be cheap, San Diego *might* be cheap, possibly Seattle, ummmm, those come to mind first off, Cali. Ahhhh, memories of Madera....
