Another big-ass set of music polls. Round 7 of 8. That means, if you don't see a favorite here, look at the other 7 before bitching. If it's not on those, either I missed it, or it sucks. These initial 8 rounds will last until Wednesday evening at 7:00 central time. Then we'll put each rounds winner into a final poll. Weeeee..... Thanks for voting and commenting, as always, I appreciate it. And some of these are artists that had more than one hit; but I argue that they only had one smash, you could say. I'm looking more for an interesting set of battles than an ultra-strict definition of 1 hit. Michael W. Ok, voted - Crash Test. Find a copy of "The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead"...funny and catchy tune. I'm afraid kd is a little too forceful of her personal politics for me to like her; politics and music...? Bad mix, that.

Ahhh the Divinyls ... saw them in concert with Big Pig () at World Expo 88. 17 and looking straight up the skirt of the tarted out schoolgirl outfit she used to wear on stage. Yeah, I was smuggling a didgeridoo most of the night. () Americans will probably only recognize that band from their song "Breakaway" which was the music playing during the opening sequence of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" or from "Young Einstein".

Pop Muzik KD has a wonderful voice Boomtown Rats Rocked 30 years ago CrashTest Dummies were really good and still listen to Mmmmmmm and Superman and a couple of others, but I like the Divinyls tooo tough choice, but M and Pop Muzik has always had a happy hold on me ( really fun time of my life) Lucy

I knew all you sick fucks would pick Divinyls.........I did too.[:)] BTW, Level there are SEVERAL songs on this list that make me wanna do really violent shit cause of the massive hatred they drag out GRRRRRRRR. SHIT MUSIC. I do however like the four non blondes song even though I've heard it a zillion times, mang.

Michael W. Smith is not a one-hit wonder.
