"Administration set to add a day to the First Quarter"

A  spokesperson from bureau of atomic weights and measures told us today, that one additional day will be added to the month of March. The unnamed source said the   addition will add  6.4 trillion  [USD] to the fortune 500  profit statements.  Investors have long sought a push.  "Extending  1Q 2008  will ease the sub-prime mortgage mess"  said a Bush official.   The action will mean that leap year in 2012 is cancelled.  Critics charge that a improper precedent is set.  http://money.cnn.com/march/2008/calender.asp

well the link is broken and its too late to add a day---I am surprised that they want to add it to Q1 when the real rubber in the road is Q4--and to add it means that every so many years-- its a weekend and wont count anyway---just let the stock market and banks work on weekends--throw the religious rabble to the streets, salvation be damned and get those 30 gold coins making profit.

I'm betting on an early April Fool's joke; it's the National Institue of Standards and Technology (used to be the National Bureau of Standards).  You'd screw stuff six ways from Sunday to do a stunt like this.

Pluto is smaller than Charon, which is an asteroid.

It's a bit short notice to be adding days to March no?

How does adding one day this year and taking away one day in 2012 make any difference to the overall picture of atomic time? Are we three days behind and so we will have three extra days between now and 2012 i.e. will every year be a leap year until 2012?

I tend to think they added an extra April the 1st this year pahunkboy maybe they had premature e-jokeulation.
