I didn't see it, but I did hear it. Last night as I was falling asleep I heard my very first spring froggie singing in the pond (which is still covered in ice lol). It's one of my favorite sounds to fall asleep by, especially when a whole bunch get going!Whoever said the country was quiet never spent much time in it.

I was just thinking the same thing when I saw this thread. I'm in the house with the window open listening to all the frogs going on and on. Just earlier when I noticed I thought to myself "Wow... It really is finally spring, the frogs are chirping." Im in Michigan, too, so I know what orfunboi is saying. The day before we got those 4 inches, i had driven around on errands with the top down on my car. Next day.. snow and ice again. I hope the snow is finally over.

I remember a few years ago when we got a foot of snow on MothersDay. Ugh. I wanna move out of Michigan!  Another sign of spring....... I saw a mighty buck making moves on the cluster of does that seem to always gather in my front woods. Soon there will be baby deer to watch! Yay and yum!

Azaleas and pollen. And more pollen. And more pollen. Wasn't my truck originally black?  We're also getting birds at the birdfeeder again, when the squirrels leave some seeds behind.
