It amazes me the differences that a few hundred miles can make. Living in a state fairly close to yours (Michigan), I am glad we don't have that type of tick infestation here. Yes, we do have them, but certainly not to that extent. As someone who has already had one long, hard battle with Lyme disease, that kind of issue would seriously take it's toll on my "out in the woods" activities. Still, I do take precautions also and our Morel season is just getting into high gear. YUM!
