I’m going against the popular opinion here by stating emphatically, AGE DOES NOT MATTER, maturity, a level head and a positive approach to life is what matters (A reasonable SoH it handy too). It is laughable for the 25+’s to say Age Does matter when such things requires the wisdom of those who are past their middle days. I echo the Actor Tommy Lee Jones when asked about his aging, he commented: “What I regret the most if that I’ll never be able to play with the Dallas Cowboys in a Superbowl.” As we age we gain valuable insights on life and living which the young don’t have. We also learn that as our body ages, there are some things we just cant do or cant do as easily, so we get smart and look at other ways and means. I played my last game of competition gridiron at the age of 47 against players in their early twenties. I just adapted and when I had to run it was an Aussie version of the “Fridge” trundling along making or closing gaps and still sacking Q/backs and often enough hitting them hard enough for them to spend a few hours in hospital. AGE ONLY MATTERS AS MUCH AS YOU ALLOW IT TO. (For those who are interested in such things, I still shoot with both revolver and semi auto pistol left hand, right hand, sitting, standing, kneeling at 30yards and score 98% accuracy . My snap shots on a combat range simulating hostage release are to double tap left eye/right eye. But that comes from hours of practice over a lifetime and often daily practice.
