kasiani -> A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 12:23:31 AM)

To everyone who wrote me such encouraging words. I send a big thank You... OH, have no fear... it will never be dis-enchantet me with the 'lifestyle'. The main reason for me to post this on the forum is to make all subs/slaves aware of him, and hope he will be shunned... You should think at the age of 38, he would be more mature?
I WILL BE A SLAVE AGAIN and will kneel in obidience before a true Master ... and i will be proud of who i am.

MadameDahlia -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 12:26:50 AM)

It is against the TOS for you to use the member's name. A Moderator will remove it.

Best of luck with your search for a new Master.

kasiani -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 12:43:03 AM)

Thank You for that... I aplogize, but it is a pity ...people should know.

ChainedAngel -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 1:48:22 AM)

Why? Some people don't like old slaves, just as some don't like fat ones or young ones or slaves with offspring or jobs or hair past the shoulders. If that is their preference, so be it. Many people, subs and slaves alike, get stupid emails from people that they perceive to be immature, yet very few of them repost the emails complete with the person's name, insist he is being immature after engaging in behavior more childish than his, and disguise their rant as a warning to other people of this person's misbehavior.

Delete and block are your friends, kasiani. The rant should have stopped at the other thread.

kasiani -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 2:14:40 AM)

don't judge if you do not know what transpired. He messaged me not the other way around... The same as You stated in Your profile that You do not wish to engage in a person to person chat, i stated that i do not apreciate to be propositioned by people young enough to be my son or daughter. ..especially not in such a flippant manner, not to say rude.. I agree with You totally... people are surely entitlet to like or dislike things... But if he does not like 'old slaves' why message one? If he dislikes all of that. he could have just not messaged me?... makes sense? I am afraid You are in no position to tell me when my 'runts' (should)???? - stop. So kindly don't bother to reply.

I would like to think as well that it would take more than this for someone to be "shunned". This sort of drama is far to common boh online and off. The whole world has gone victimization crazy I think... skins are far to thin all around.

Should this guy not have messaged her? Sure. But did a rude email or IM really necessitate two threads and an attempted call for a "shunning"? I don't think so.

I will say this - I think the moderation policy here of deleting names from posts like this is AWESOME and has already proved it's worth.

krys -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 4:04:45 AM)

Unfortunately, if you are going to appoint yourself the politeness police, you are going to spend a lot of time and energy and not get very much in the way of satisfying results. Why waste time you could spend finding the Master that is right for you on this?

Is making an immature, inappropriate attack on an entire group of people based on personal prejudice rude? Yes. It was rude when he did it to you, it was rude when you did it to all Goreans.

If you look through the threads, you will see a lot of people complaining about emails they received that they considered rude or inappropriate or just unwanted. You are not alone. I wish you luck in your search.

Hey, I always say that too!

Think about him, but at some point you need to let go and move on. It will be better for you.

Aileen68 -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 4:24:48 AM)

It sounds like he got the reaction from you that he was going for. Everyone receives rude messages here. This site is just like real life in that you will run across all personality types. Some will be kind, some clueless and some rude. How you choose to deal with it and let it affect your day is up to you.

Online names aren't important since they can be changed just by opening a new profile. What is important is to make people aware of patterns of behavior that should raise red flags. It's a "give a fish/teach to fish" sort of thing.

Yes, delete and block are everyone's friend, and I'm betting that you become the recipient of the block key from this friendly little post.

i get sick and tired of the oh pepole can say whatever they like on the internet so shut up thing, sure they can, and this lady did get insulted, even sad, and then it is her equal right to say so, i peronaly do not think it is okey to be rude just becouse you can hide behind a screen name, that dont make you cool, it only show you a coward that like to hurt pepole when they can do nothing in return. If anything the OP showed guts in telling pepole she was insulted, in starting a discussion on a dificult topic.

However, to name the man is not to nice, you see even if you feel indignated OP, the rule is there for a reason, the reson being that a person is not to be shunned or looked down upon becouse of a discussion whit one person. He insulted you, he was a jerk, but dont hang him out, block him, go take a warm nice bath, perhaps wht some good claming oils in and forget aboute it, for he is not worth your effort in thinking aboute him, let him have his opinions and keep you yours.

No one told her to "shut up". We simply pointed out that trying to put out a community alert/shunning was probably not really a useful response. This is advice this person can take or leave... and it was said politely as far as I can see.

The reality is simple... the world, offline and on, will sometimes bring you words / glances / reactions you don't like and it is useful to learn to let the trivially unimportant ones roll off your back. if you go through life letting every rude comment upset or hurt you then that is really not goign to be useful.

Maybe I am being dense here... what difficult topic? That she was insulted in email? THats not a difficult topic - it is a common one. Her age? I don't see that she has much problems discussing her age (at least in terms she finds acceptable).

It's poissible. Many peopel use delete / block type functions as a form of punishment for opinions they don't like. Me? I jsut became an admirer :)

nephandi -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 9:40:26 AM)

Often yes pepole find talking aboute their age as dificult, as well as talking aboute emotions, such as getting hurt. Pepole do get hurt you know Soulhuntre and while it is all well and goo to say ah just ignore it, and it would be wonderful if it was so easy, it is not that easy. Belive me, i was bullied all trhough school and still ahve problems whit it, hurtful words are not that easy to simply forget somtimes.

kasiani -> RE: A big Thank You.. (10/4/2005 3:51:33 PM)

Thank You again to all that took interest. But in particular a big 'Thank You' to You.
To all who think i am getting worked up about a matter, that does not deserve wasting my time,it was not the first insult... I got others before...which i did ignore and responded to with a simple block. But may be all those people who think it to be a small matter, should think again. Everyone who thinks this is just an imature prank some people play, are mistaken. It is more then that...'collarme' is a wonderful oportunity for people who choose to be in the lifestyle to come together and share. Jerks who deliberately misuse this site to insult others, should not just be blocked but should be shunned... Unfortunaterly it is not possible because they simply lock on under a diffrent handle. I am fully aware of that and i just expressed my opinion. For everyone who is concerned that i am not 'over it'... i am... I am owned again very soon. Thank You everyone.

*shrugs* And this means what to me? If total strangers are so affected by my words to another stranger that they choose to do a little preemptive blocking, then so be it.
