What's the best April Fool's joke you ever played on someone, or heard of being played, or were suckered into yourself? I nearly fell for one on another forum just now where they announced that in an effort to go green and conserve energy they would be turning the forum server's off at night....... LOL
(Hey, I said NEARLY, OK?)

Ooh I like that!

For a couple of years, back when the ums were young and fond of hard boiled eggs, I used to hollow one out and hand it to them to peel.

My favorite is the story of a newspaper on the Oregon coast that had a long tradition of phony front-page stories on April 1.  Everybody had a ball with it, until a major bridge was washed out on March 31, and nobody believed the story.

See the "32" thread. That would be a good one if they had pulled it off.

Looooooovvvvvve April Fools:

When the kids were little, I switched them in their beds so boy woke up in girl's bed, girl woke up in boy's. Put green food coloring in the milk; told them it was moldy but "probably wouldn't hurt them."
Filled their backpacks with those packing popcorn things. Put a rubber band around the sprayer hose in the kitchen so when they turned in on...Changed the clocks to one hour earlier and then ran around hollaring how they were late for school...painted my tooth black and told them the tooth fairy took it without permission and didn't leave money. I'll think of some more.

Sadly...they know me pretty well so while I was thinking "now is when hilarity will ensue," they would often roll their eyes instead...

did this in the break room at work..

i put a rubberband around the squirter/hose thing in the sink and then replaced it...pointing outward. Anyone that turned the water on was blasted. The funny part was that they would dry off, cuss at me, then sit down to wait for the next fool.....

In the U.K., apparently Youtube Rick Roll'd anyone who clicked on a feature video.  I was on the floor laughing my ass off for like five minutes, but a little sad because I was intending to either Rick Roll or Meatspin the entire forum this morning, and now I can't really do that because it'd be unoriginal.  Poopies.

April Fool's is just not fair to the other people around me.  With eight years of theatrical training I can say and do the damndest things and keep a completely straight face.  Can't think of any particularly brilliant ones, but I'm notorious for dragging them out and not revealing it till the end of the day.  I'm a prankster to the max.

Google got on the bandwagon.. go to thier website.. www.google.com and look for the Virgle Link. http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html It has to be a April Fools Day Hoax.

Too funny. Holy crap take the quiz.. too funny!

Here is what I got..
Well, you're distressingly normal and could conceivably adjust to life as a deep space pioneer, though we recommend instead that you leave the Mars missions to the serious whack jobs who scored over 130 and instead finish year 3 of law school, tuck your toddler into bed, design Web 2.0 applications, run for Congress or do whatever other normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road thing you're currently doing with your normal, healthy, middle-of-the-road life. If you're determined to give Virgle a try, though, you can
