why can female subs decide to declare themselves as being into caging and puppy play but male subs can't?

This topic was approached previously, both through sending private e-mails and posting the same concerns/suggestions regarding the choice for Dom vs Dommes. It was not received well, due to some people having high emotions related to the perceived and obvious differences, and the suggestion of sexism. (I also believe the specific thread, about that, may have been the catalyst to remove the "suggestion" area on this Message Board, but I don't know for sure. The timing seemed right.)
Anyway...from what I understand, the categories were originally designed, and then later, when errors, or discrepancies were found, it became a bit of a challenge to change them again. The suggestion was that this was a "free" site, and the administrative changes would not only take time, and money, but would not be as easy as flicking a switch. That makes sense, doesn't it?
So, if there's really something not listed in your "interest" choices, perhaps you should be specific in the details, in your profile. That'll work. [:)]
