Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I didn't see a better one. So here goes:

This is a formal apology to my Master for not trusting in him and believing in our relationship. I wronged him and hurt him very deeply and that distresses me more than anything. There will be consequences and I'm glad because I deserve whatever he decides is necessary. I very humbly ask his forgiveness and am very grateful that he still wants to keep me and own me. I will try very hard to learn from this experience and not repeat this mistake again.

I love you Daddy very much.

TreasureKY -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 10:44:46 AM)

Trust doesn't come out of thin air.  Responsibility for building and maintaining trust goes both ways.

LadyPact -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 10:50:55 AM)

I'm curious as to why you are not apologizing to your Daddy, rather than making a public statement?

CalifChick -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 10:56:01 AM)

Well color me cynical.  I still think he treated you like dirt, and HE is the one who should be apologizing to you.

Cali

mnottertail -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:27:34 AM)

You don't have to apologize, D!!!!!

Ron

colouredin -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:29:25 AM)

And im with Cali to equal it out :P

nope actually I dont get why you are saying sorry here to be honest OP.

LilMissHaven -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:35:55 AM)

I never quite got the reasoning behind public apologies and punishment.

I hope that you and your Daddy both step away from the opinions of others and talk about the issue calmly and try to come up with ways to prevent the loss of trust from happening again.

I'm sorry I wasn't going to butt into your private affairs, I just can't wrap my mind around how punishment is supposed to rebuild lost trust?  IMO only re-opening the lines of communication would help.

Butting out of your business now,
Haven

akisha -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:57:11 AM)

Ya i'm kind of at a loss how the OP figures something private and personal should be shared with 4.1 billion strangers.

Madame4a -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:58:17 AM)

I'm with akisha on this...

seems just a bit weird to me...

subtee -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 11:59:50 AM)

LaTigresse -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 12:00:09 PM)

Im thinking its cos she was posting her concerns the other day on the forum, and now she has to say sorry because everything all better.

I can kind of understand that but I still don't understand how punishment is going to rebuild trust.  I'm not judging what they think is right for them I'm just curious on their insight into it.

Justme696 -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 12:33:38 PM)

i guess he asked for this

Simple.  The person demanding the public apology/punishment is an egomaniac who needs an entire community to see just how awesome of a dominant he is over another human being.  Chances are he's compensating for some insecurity of his which makes him come across as a complete douchebag to other people.

domiguy -> RE: A Formal Apology (4/1/2008 12:38:22 PM)

Nothing would bring me more satisfaction then to have some woman that I am currently taking advantage of airing our shit out in public....SOME FOLKS LOVE THE DRAMA....And some people are just to dense to see the difference.
