I've recently been asked to assist in the online training of a complete newbie sub and would be interested to hear from others on here about some ideas for online scenarios and the like. At the moment she is still exploring her sub side and so has not uncovered her limits.

I suggest you try out the handy dandy "search" feature ... up there... *points up... try looking up internet or online.

And I'll simply point you both two Second Life. It's online, lots of people there into BDSM, some really get into it (I do).
*some don't think that interactions in such as SL matter. Try it and see if it fits your needs, is what I say.

Are you a newbie as well?  If so, i suggest lots of research...online. Hell, if you're old school...same answer, actually.  Good luck.  My first experience with a Dom was online with a guy from the UK...and i turned out alright.   ([8|]sort of)

It's... story time! Pick a subject, pick a scenario. You both write out a short story on the subject. Discuss both sides, both points of views. Anything she's curious about or unsure of, have her do some research. Yourself included if need be! The more you know... blah, can't even finish that cliche with a straight face! Anyway, you get my point. It opens up the lines of communication, and stories tend to help in understanding someone's point of view and exactly where you agree or disagree.

Now, as far as online play... never been much for the whole cybering acting out thing. i can do it well, but i always giggle through it all. Maybe try an RP chat room. Just watch at first (maybe you'll get lucky and someone's acting out a scene!) or talk to people and see what they've done. It's like typing out a story as it's being written. Have fun with it. Get creative. Distinguish between just talking and *grins wickedly* acting out physical acts.

Exchanging stories is great as it forces her to do something as simple as email you daily or weekly or however often you both agree to do so.  After that, can make any changes you want.  Can she be on a cam when writing you?  What do you think would be a good way for her to show her submission to you if she was with you?  Could reword it so she can do it online.

email and chat can be fake...at least get into phone calls... my unlimited Long Distance is only @20 per month... or a private prepaid cell phone that can be password protected... privacy must be assured especially for a newbie not out of the closet... friends, family and co-workers do not need to know...! my sub calls rembrant "Fire in a tube"...

I recomend updating her resume for when the cam videos get sent to her employer followed by grief training for when she gets her heart ripped out.

Or train her how to use the internet properly, find a local group and have several people who actually do this tell her training is online bullshit.

Or train her how to order books and to get a enough of an education to recognize she knows more than 99% of the people in chat rooms.
