Im not a political person. I mind My own, work on My family and keep things in My own lil order. But I got this video in My email today...and I wanted to show it to you guys and see what you think...get some ideas and opinons...

Im mainly curious...why they would release this information now? Why would it just now come to light? Whats the significance of the timing....and what can we do if this is real?

all i can say is wtf!????? this is like a slap in the face. if it is real,i don't know what to think,seems odd it would come out at a time when america is deciding who will run for our next presidency

I don't think its especially new. I was reading about RDIF a few years ago along with the Real ID Act. Most of what was said, I see more as hysteria than reality. More fear than fact which will delight several of our regular posters!

I think that Im a lil pissed off by it. I mean...I come from a place, as a person, where I have had to struggle and fight every step of the way just to make ends meet and to get some where with who I am as a person. And now, some corperate asshole is going to come along and say..."hey...were gonna "ammend" your rights and were gonna change things around to suit us...because we honestly dont give a fuck about you?"

Thats progress? No...Progress would be to see some one in this world do something for some one else with no alturistic motivations. Progress would be to Stop seeing kids with out insurance because their parents fall in between guidelines. Progress would be no more 90 year old women eating cat food. Closing your eyes and calling this progress is what they want. THINK. Being a lemming is what they want. See what they are doing. How would you feel if one day you said out loud..."I hate living in america sometimes" and then you went to buy food for your kids and couldnt because some governmental asshole over heard that and cut your chip off?
How would you feel if the same thing happened, and the kid was in an accident, but the hospital wouldnt treat the kid because you said that?

Did we fight for rights. do we fight every day for rights for some Hitler wanna be to come along and shut us down? To tell us what to think? To walk on us? To trick us into thinking this is progress?

I just watched another video, where Microsoft is saying they already have these RFID chips in store tags, that can be read from up to 30 feet away, but can be torn down so that they can only be read from 2 inches away.

Like I said, maybe I am in no position to argue this, I dont keep up with politics, I dont watch the news, and I rarely look at a paper...but yanno...I just find it scary as hell that they are considering doing this. Blame it on My southern up bringing, fire and brimstone, book of revelations and all that jazz...I dunno...but Im more pissed about the fact that My rights, that My grandfather fought for...that My uncle fought for...are being pissed on.

Just an opposing view here http://boston.com/bostonglobe/ideas/articles/2007/11/25/the_amero_conspiracy/.

It basically says that it is just another conspiracy theory. The article also points out that there is something troubling about the American public being so alienated from it's government that we (or some of "we") are willing to believe in such theories simply by hearing them.

Okay...so I see the point that both of you are trying to make...and I thank you for showing Me a different view. But My question, and I say again, I am not a political person, and I dont get into the conspiracy thing, but I have to ask...wouldnt they also put out things like this (the things that the two of you have indicated) to balance the theories that are running around?

Maybe Im over thinking. Maybe I just fell prey to what seemed real and isnt. I dunno...maybe its just that things are so hard for the "average joe" type person that I can see the government doing something like this. But Im glad to see both ends of the argument. That goes along way to allaying any fears, be they rational or irrational, that I had after seeing that.

I think the important point is that we as a whole feel so disenfranchised that those fears even exist. I have my own paranoid fears as do most of us I guess. I don't really trust law enforcement, government, or most big businesses. Whether those fears are "accurate concerns" or not, it is still a sad commentary on the fact that I've lost faith in those entities.

I have to agree with you DK. It's not the first time banks have been helped over the individuals and in this case, corporate greed was the only reason they go in trouble in the first place.

In another example, I was living in NY and lost a house in the months following 9/11. Lost my business and all other businesses seemed to stop for a bit. I couldn't pay my mortgage and lost my house. The federal government paid the bank from the federal aid that went there during that time. They got the federal money and the house. They sold the house for almost double what I owed the following year. All I really wanted was an extension.

Well, there ya go! To My mind, it is not a question of whether these thngs are true or not. Evidence to the contrary, at least some of this is actually happening, and some of it has no "official record" of truth. I would posit that it is deliberate that there is no "official" record. celticlord, I did read both of your links. Very interesting, and where I get the "official" word.
The question is what defines this as a conspiracy theory? If we think that a conspiracy theory is that which someone is dreaming up (in other words, and outright lie to fool the masses) in order to place fear in the hearts of the common people, then it is not a conspiracy theory, because it is happening.
If we, instead, think of these unfolding events as a good thing, and that the conspiracy lies in the fact that some people are putting these facts across as a potentially bad thing for the world, then I guess it is and I would have to be on the side of the conspiracy theorists.
We are on a track, with many people on board, toward a one world government, a one world currency, and a one world religion. People have been afraid for so long that all of these things sound like a good idea. The woman is afraid for her family's safety after 9-11 so she and they have volunteered to have the verichip implanted. We are not closing our borders and people are screaming and asking why...why...why? Maybe the PTB will not do so, because there is some sort of "unofficial" agreement of which the sheeple are not aware?
*shrug* I am not sitting here quaking in fear. Perhaps I should be, but I am okay with it, because I am of the belief that this is all foretold, is a necessary evil that will occur in the end times, and we are short timers here on earth. Instead, I watch the events unfold and see that everything is as it needs to be.
So the real solution lies not in stopping what is happening. We cannot stop it. We will not stop it. It will become a fact of life, and that is when you have to make a decision. To be marked or not to be marked.
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Frankly I cannot think of a more absolute power than a one world ruler. Can you?
Yet people will welcome this as a relief to the mess we are in now. We are frogs swimming in the pot of water that is getting hotter by the minute. The heat is being turned up a notch everytime something new comes along under the guise of keeping us safe, being politically correct, or fostering unity and equality.

I don't believe that Hal Lindsey ever gave a timeline. He always felt it was something to be seen within a short period of time. That could be 50 years, or tomorrow. And why are you so sure that this passage can only refer to Nero? No one who subscribes to the belief that there is a one world governement and a one world ruler on the horizon denies that the origin of said government and ruler has something to do with a re-risen Rome.
No one can predict the timeline as things stand now. It is not given to us to know. We can only watch the evolution of world politics and take it to heart.
Be not fond of it all you like. When it happens, I can only hope that more people who reject this at this time remember info and beliefs that were shared along the way and think twice. I believe it will happen. I also believe it will happen soon. Maybe not in My lifetime, but I am old and tired.

I've investigated it quite thoroughly, have quite a few books on it, and was actually in the movement/religion back in the '70s.

I was there, I had his books, and he gave a timeline. So did the folks (actual Christians) who were in my Bible studies.

Bible scholars say it had to do with Nero. Apocalyptic writings in an apocalyptic time.

What worries me about Darbyism (premillenial dispensationalism) is that people will actually desire more conflict, more war, more religious persecution simply because they think that these things MUST happen for the second coming. Or they do nothing to address such problems because, well, the Rapture's coming soon anyway and it won't be a problem for us.
