Status: offline 		How would you give what you don’t have?
 
BDSM is more like a Religion to me where I am uncovering self, and yes, I admit that my whole life is a learning process.
 
I haven’t been here long enough and my head is full of questions regarding the lifestyle, so I post my questions on the board and I am so grateful to get different insights.
 
Actually, I am truly blessed by having met/dealt several people from here; some are subs and there is others. Each I have tasked to do something for me regardless of what it is. It could as big as performing a sexual fantasy or as little as to do a research on line for me regarding certain topics.
 
I am grateful to God for giving me such power to command/control people’s minds even from a distance.
 
But I noticed something very strange/weird about men and women who claim to be whatever in the lifestyle.
 
Do you guys think by giving a big mouth while sitting behind a computer screen makes you who you claim to be?
 
My conclusion:
 
We are what we say as long as we can back it up with actions, and to each his own, some prefer to project their image as an intelligent person treating people with class/respect and there is the other who reflect quite the opposite by using the street language in writing. The latter however, I see them as they lack discipline and I wonder  how would they give it to another when the lack it within themselves?

Status: offline 		Hmm see that post was a bit confusing to me, the conclusion though a valid point wasnt a summerisation of your previous ideas. Why does 'street writing' have anything to do with Dominance? Thats a bit baffling. I actually think that rather than basing my opinions on peoples words I am trying to base them on actions, that way i minimise the preconceptions and pedistool placing that I tend to have a nasty habit of doing.

There isnt one way to be a Dominant so just because you do something differantly doesnt make others less valid, and im still a bit confused with your point

yet looking at your last question literally, Daddy didn't have to display proof of His dominance. that's not His style. His approach was more of friendship and communication since He knew my trust and respect has to be earned before moving towards our current D/s relationship. it's not everyone's basic approach but it worked for us.

That O/others in the lifestyle would try to find answers to your questions, or aid you in your lifestyle 'research', in no way means that you have 'command/control' of their minds! 
 
(I won't even get into the 'God' thing, not here in this thread--and certainly not now, today.  I have a painting that needs to be finished in less than a week...and I'm way behind!)

You may goof off as you mentioned but at the same time we don’t have to put insults or put someone down….point is to show Respect and falls under Code of Conduct in public.

Thank you for taking the time to reply when you needed that time to finish the painting, as for tasking people to do stuff for me, I didn’t mean those who are kind enough to help me out in the lifestyle on here. In fact, I am so grateful to those individuals who took the time to find what I needed at the time when they didn’t have to.
 
Again, I am blessed to have those helpful people on here as friends.

Status: offline 		Ditto on being confused.  I don't know what "street writing" is, but I judge people on the content of their posts, not the style of writing.  I appreciate witty, intelligent, insightful and/or helpful posts and usually ignore the abusive ones. (Although I admit to posting the occasional "you're full of it" post, I try to do it in an intelligent insightful way.) 

As far as commanding/controlling people's minds from afar, I think that's rather arrogant.  Perhaps people 'afar' have been kind enough to help or agreeable enough to obey, but the way you word it you sound like you hypnotized them into obedience.  I have an on-line submissive who pays me to dominate him and I do command and control him; but I'm well aware that my command and control will last only so long as I fulfill his need to be controlled, and believe me, it's a challenge long-distance.

Not a fucking chance!  Motherfuckers like me don't give a rat's ass what some putz behind a screen thinks.  We are too busy actually doing this shit in real life.  There are some very real people here, most are quite modest.  John Warren posts here on occasion, he wrote the first BDSM book I ever read, The Loving Dominant.  We have people like Merc&beth, LA, Stephan, Archer, and god knows who else who attend real world bdsm events and actually met each other. 

After a while, if you have actually done this stuff it becomes easier to spot the ones talking out of their ass.  The thing I love most about CollarMe is that it is actually filled with great people and hasn't the lowest chest thumping and bullshit factors of any bdsm site I know.

So not saying "what a fucking bunch of cockamainie bullshit spewing out of your ass" makes someone better than someone who is hypocritical?    You began this thread with an insult to a certain group and then complain about others who insult people.  Try practicing what you preach.
 
You seem like a decent guy, clearly good looking, just relax and enjoy the company.

Status: offline 		I have to say that it is a personal pet peeve of mine when people "text" me on here (ru on yahoo?), and I want to scream when people mix up homophones (to, too, two, their, they're).  However, I know that not everyone is as obsessed with language as I am, and they really couldn't care less.  They might even become irritated at me for the way that I write.  So it isn't fair to judge people on their personal presentations based on their use of language.  They simply think differently.  And to be absolutely frank, I don't think that you should be judging people's language at all:

I don't mean to be rude, but the pot shouldn't call the kettle black.

- I only give what I have to offer to another at my choosing
- The only honest thing I claim is the fact that I am human with all it's faults and assets.
- Respect is a two way street, treat me with respect and I return the favor and vice versa.
- each individual determines their own level of discipline and they either attempt to correct that or seek another to help in refining self discipline. My own disipline is not determined by anyone else's standards now or ever. This self disipline has keep me out of jail, able to own and maintain a house and a small circle of honest people who I deem my friends.
