Are you saying that this is the only woman you have ever met who said she hadn't been to an Adult Store before? All of the other woman you have known have all been to an Adult Store? That, to me, is much more surprising than the thought that there is a 60 year old woman who hasn't been to one. In fact, i would think that it is more common than not, that a 60 year old hasn't been to an Adult Store.
The only reason that i have been to sex shops/adult book stores/adult theaters, etc. is because men have made me go there with them. When i was 20 years old and living in Germany with my exhusband (before we were married), he took me to sex shops all the time. It was very humiliating for me and made me feel 'dirty' (but, also very turned-on), mainly because i would be the only female in the place, except for the girl working the cash register and the women working down the hall in the private booths, which he also took me into. He also took me into the adult movie theater, in the back of the store, where the sounds of men slapping their meat in the seats around me made more noise than the movie did. This was back in the mid '70s and early '80s, before the widespread availability of VCRs and pay-per-view cable TV porn, and, of course before PCs and the internet, so there wasn't much opportunity, outside of 8mm movies, to watch porn at home. You pretty much had to go someplace to see it.
He also took me to "live sex shows", which were actually simulated, and had me walk with him along "the wall", the red light district, in the old part of Nuernberg, where the prostitutes sit naked in the windows facing the street.
Back in the States, he took me to strip clubs in NJ and "tittie bars" in Fayetteville, NC, where i had to sit up front and put dollars in the dancers g-strings. One Dominant, i was involved with, later on, took me to a very high dollar "fetish boutique" in Georgetown, DC and my current Master has taken me to a few "adult toy stores" in Charlotte, NC. With the except of the "festish boutique" in G'town, where there were as many women as men shopping, i never saw another woman in any of these places, other than the ones working there.
So, i have no problem believing that there is a 60 year old woman who has never been inside an Adult Store.
