I know the song - Morcheeba are hugely popular... where I 'originated'... they're alright: but now that Skye has left... not much point to them anymore. She made the band.

The public really need to get across to their Senators and Reps, that they are tired of the pork. It is going to take people stepping across party lines to do this though. Differences on many things need to be set aside to send a message to the American Royalty.

It's one thing I do like about McCain, he seems to have a strong backbone when it comes to pork. What would happen if pork disappeared? How much would it hurt/help America?

It would hurt slightly in the beginning for a few, but all those saving would help balance the budget and pay down the deficit. Once that was done, then the taxes should go down on a Federal level, and up on local levels. If someone wants to create a Mothers Day center in their town, then those taxpayers should determine whether they want to fund it or not. People do not seem to realize this is our money they are spending, it does not belong to the Feds.
