Good sex and even great sex need not take a long time. I think the same might go for foreplay and aftercare. Just like everything thing else in live, it matters what the actual people, doing the actual... "deed" I'm pretty sure its just an average BTW. The very concept of average would mean a variety of units to come up with the average. There is nothing wrong with average per se, after all, its just a count. Nope im not every woman, which is why stupid articles like this should be disregarded because im pretty sure all of us are differant, where one may cum screaming and gushing another may be silent, where one may need their nipples pinched another may need to be gently rubbed, where one may cum in three mins another may take an hour. These 'studies' are pseudo-science at best though; they're fun, but nothing more. A little while ago I posted a thread about a study which supposedly showed that hourglass shaped women were more intelligent, for example. There are all sorts of studies out there... once you decide what you want to prove... you can pretty much prove anything. Do you think that the person who commissioned the study has found a solution to their premature ejaculation ;-p ?

I do NOT want "average sex". Quickies are fine, I enjoy them a great deal but if it looks to become a habit, that sucker had better get worked out as soon as possible. Passion, anticipation, foreplay, yes and denial...I want it all, not always, not every day, but certainly more than 7 minutes of humpin. When the sprogs were younger, timing and tiredness was an issue, no doubt, but both our needs are strong I think we are at a place now that we are both happy with. So you have had and enjoyed quickies and you have had the long marathon sessions (I'll give you the bennie of doubt that there were marathon intercourse only sessions as that is what the study was showing, average times of intercourse). If you take all of your sexual intercourse minutes and time them over, a year, six months, three months, between marathon and quickie there is an average time of intercourse. That was the study. OH and BTW... what is "pseudo science" The International Society for Sexual Medicine and The International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health are not quite pseudo scientist are they. I am betting that the average time of actual penetration during sexual intercourse is right between three and thirteen minutes no matter how long the rest of it is before and after. Why is that so off putting???
