Setting some concrete goals, figuring out how much money you can reasonably expect to save each month, and--given that--how soon you'll be on your O/own, will help you cope with the sitution as it stands right now. Stick to Y/your savings goal, track your savings as your 'downpayment fund' grows, and Y/you'll feel better as you watch 'moving day' move closer and closer. It's far easier to bear something unpleasant, if you can calculate accurately when it will end...

My Dominant and I do not get to play to often for a similar reason. I remember when I first started staying with him and his parents how awkward I felt about playing in the same house even though were were in my bedroom and everyone was asleep. lol.. So trust me I understand.. I think for me it is just hard to get into the right mindframe with so much vanilla around. We have two toddlers and live with his parents. The house we live in is small and the price we pay for trying to save money stresses our relationship. Just know that it will not be forever and there are many ways you can get around the nilla eyes. Even something as simple as a necklace or anklet to feel ownership, sitting on the floor at his feet watching television, serving Him dinner before yourself... you have to get creative at times. We finally made it a point to spend the nighttime to quietly play of course its not intense play cause lord knows that would be loud. When we want to play rougher we have to find another place to go. In the past we have taken mini weekend vacations when it was possible. Sometimes life makes it hard on BDSM relationships, but like I said there are always brighter things later down the road.. kids eventually get bigger and people fnally get out on their own. Just be strong until the times comes where you can play more :)
