Status: offline 		How is it possible to be on someone's favorites list, but also be blocked by them??

When i notice someone has added me to their favorites and i've never spoken with them, i usually send them a quick little msg saying hello and such, but when i went to do this for one of the people, it said they had blocked me and my message wasnt sent. I dont understand why he would have added me to his favorites list then go and block me since he never even spoke to me... just doesnt make sense in my head lol

Status: offline 		This person just likes looking at you. They obviously can't risk the chance of getting caught chatting with you. I wouldn't give it any thought. Odd enough ppl have me down in there favoriates but have never sent me a message. I'm not sure what the deal is but I'm around when ppl want or need to message me about something.

Status: offline 		I think it happens when someone uses the adding to favorites as "hello, I'm interested", because that someone is either too lazy or insecure to write more, than when you don't respond in a timely fashion (IMMEDIATEDLY), he blocks you.
I tend to add people to favorites I want to look over again in the future. M

Status: offline 		How bout something as simple as someone who is seriously infatuated with your profile, yet they've come to the stark realization that they neither have the confidence, necessary tools or wherewithal to pursue you. So they want to reflect and have you with them, but it's too painful for them because they know they can't make it happen, so they block you from ever corresponding.

I know it sounds crazy, but ya never know what some are thinking - If it was me I'd let nothing get in the way and make it happen.

Status: offline 		Well, I am generally inclined to go along with all alien invasion theories, especially when they come from the Lordandmaster. :)

I have a whole list of admirers, and when I check them out, I am more often startled and disturbed than anything. Guys that in NO way meet my requirements, or who have some interest that I specifically say that I don't have.

Or, as our Ranger says, maybe they just don't have what it takes to pursue you. :) so just be flattered.

Status: offline 		Plenty of people add me to their favs list that dont seem to read anything i wrote in my journals (in one i specificly asked them to at least say hello to me when they added me to their favs list) but when i write them a quick not saying hello they at least read it and usually respond, but i found it unusually odd that this person had blocked me, so with him blocking me i dont think i can take that as any kind of compliment to be flattered by.

You think someone would add you to their list of favorites as a way of saying hello? Then when you don't notice and respond back in whatever fashion you may seem fit...they would block you offended?

When I was on a certain 'other' site that can't be mentioned here I had a lot of people add me to their favourites.

When I spoke to them I got a similar reaction to you, eventually I found out that people will look at your profile and add you as a favourite for various reasons:

1. You might be new to the site and have not filled out your profile so they add you to 'check you out' later
2. There might be something ON your profile that they want to refer to or point out to someone else so they add you
3. There might be something you have written on the site that they have a use for - so they add you.
4. They might think your interesting
5. They may just want to leer at you with no interest in contacting you at all.
6. You may have checked something on your profile that they want to ask about.

And the one I found hardest to believe but apprently it can happen:
They may add you so they can point out the sort of person they do NOT want to meet. That's how you end up as a blocked favourite.

Status: offline 		I add people to my favorites because I find them sexually attractive. I don't see why it would necessarily follow that adding someone to your favorites would also mean you would then email them.

That's actually quite humorous. A site that has what? 100,000 members and growing. I'm sure someone will correct me.
What are the odd's you will ever try to contact the right person?

A person like me it is unlikely on all counts. Probably 99.97% of the people I would never even try to.
