You as a slave are locked in your collar (you do not have the key) and your Master or Mistress has left the house or apartment to run some errands. A friend or family member decides to unexpectedly stop in for a visit.

Would you open the door and let them in?
Would you not answer the door?

Has this ever happened to you?

It would depend on who was knocking on the door. It hasn't happen to me, but then I don't have a collar that locks. My everyday collars look completely normal. Well, I do have a pendent with the BDSM symbol on my main collar but most people don't know what that means and I don't wear it that often because it's so blingy.

Anyway, I don't think you are asking about what sort of collar we wear, but more if we would open the door to someone when we are obviously in a submissive state of appearance. I would say again that it would depend on who was knocking on the door.

If anyone UNEXPECTEDLY stops by for a visit...i don't answer. All my friends and family know there are rules against stopping by without prior notice...and i'm single. If i had a partner...i might open just long enough to give them a firm talking to. And it woudn't happen again i assure you.

I think the situation depeneds on if the person knocking knows about your life style and is comfortable with it.

i am a slave, locked into my stainless steel collar 24/7, so anyone coming to my door would be answered by me, except when told specifically not to by Master Andy.

Oh, and i have a key, we have one each, for emergencies sake, although i have only ever used mine once, so that Master Andy could make sure i was able.

i cannot see the problem. If someone knows the significance of the collar why should it bother them, and if they don't, why should it phase them that you wear outlandish jewellery?

Friends know not to come over without calling, strangers, well if I am allowed to answer ,may get an eye full. I must be naked so there you go, I may scare some and give an eye full to others

Well...I am always locked into my collar..and everyone in my entire family has already seen it..and they drop by unexpected all the time, and if I dont answer the door they generally start fubmling around for their key and open the door themselves, so I usually try to get to it to open it anyway no matter what.

(yes, my grandparents let themselves into my house almost daily, its a bit annoying, makes certain things complicated, but we deal with it)

I would not answer unless they seemed to be in distress, and in that case I'd throw on my best goth apparel and just say I was having a dress-up day. I have the advantage of being able to claim I was getting ready to do photographs, since I'm always doing outlandish self-portraits.

Well in that case, Id strip off everyhtin BUT the collar, stick a copy of mein kampf and the turner diaries on the coffee table, hang a confederate flag over the fireplace, and invite them in for tea....

I actually used to have a rule that you DON'T answer the door when I'm not home.

That rule went right out the door when we started working opposite shifts. When she is Home while I am gone it turns out that LOTS of people stop by and the door is always being knocked on or the doorbell rang. So she felt stupid sitting and basically hiding until the person at the dooor went away.

The collar does present a question.

A Turian Collar (Gorean Ring Collar) Presents little issue as it LOOK like a solid ring Necklace. HOWEVER Gorean girls are often Kenneled or Secured while at home so the Collar isn't the issue it's the 20' chian that she is bolted to the floorboards with that makes this look odd. In this situation I would say ....Don't answer the door, because if the person thinks something sick and twisted is going on and calls 911 and says there is a girl chained to a floorboard and this sick bastard has her brainwashed into thinking she is okay. Well the police have a way of NOT understanding such things and investigations TAKE TIME ..... TRUST ME ON THIS.

If she is wearing the Spike Studded Collar of Cerberus, Again answerin g the door is ONLY going to present Questions and possible issues later on. "Bobby, hunny, this is your mother, since when are you dating a girl who thinks she is a dog, you are better than that, why not date a nice jewish girl and get a dog house for that floosie cause you are just my only baby boy, what is wrong with the strange girl, Are you getting your Vitamins?" Sorry I always picture all ficticious moms as being Jewish I don't know why.

Many people how REQUIRE a Collar at ALL times make it Public Friendly because even if you enjoy the attention after awhile the Dog Collar, or Padlocked D-Ringed Lead Collar, or even the Choaker Collar start to get old.

I tend to go for the Turian Collar even though I'm Not Gorean, Most are secured using an Allen wrench set pin and are seamless in most cases and they get a LOT of compliments if ther are made right and after everything is said and done ther are functional.

As for opening the door. If you don't mind the obvious issues it presents then Go for it. Just realize what you could REALLY be in for.

Whiteslavery is still an issue in foreign countries and lately they have been shipping them back to the states to be brainwashed slaves in the LITERAL sense. They behave like what they are doing is normal as MANY have been trained to be this way since the ages of 5 or 6 and as early as 3. They really don't think there is anything wrong with being chained to the wall or being someone's PURCHASED Property but the Police sure do. Careful what you get yourself into. Some things are not as easy as an explanation if the people you are explaining it to just don't want to understand.
