D. Side note to the site, you should make a seperate category for collare women and people who are just looking  for friends on your search specifications.
E. This applies to everyone, how come 85% of the profiles aren't filled out at least 20% of the way?

Nope, if someone tries to e-mail me and it's obvious they haven't read my profile, they won't get a snippy answer, they'll get ignored.
B. Could you at least read my email if I fit your criteria?
If someone has already determined that you don't fit their criteria, why should they take the time to read your e-mail?
C. Side note to everyone, if you view a profile at least drop a note just to say hi?
Ummm, why?  I don't say hi to everyone I look at on the street.
D. Side note to the site, you should make a seperate category for collare women and people who are just looking  for friends on your search specifications.

Status: offline 		A.   Sometimes it's the best way to go.  The snippy stuff is usually My middle ground for what I'm really thinking.
B.   No, but I'm not required to read everything ever sent to Me.
C.   If I did send a note to EVERYONE who viewed My profile, I'd have no time for the forums.
D.   BS.  There is no need for different 'classes' of people here on CM.  Do your own legwork.
E.    Back to the fact that I'm more interested in the forums than the other side.  If the little bit I have there is interesting to someone on the other side, and they have more questions, they will ask Me.  I'm much more interested in having a conversation, than providing a monologue.

A) I use "Thanks but no." However some people keep up after that, then I get snippy.
B)I could read it, but you should read my profile throughly first.
C)No, because who has time/sometimes thats falsly encouraging

A. Of course not...some people are assholes.
B.  Aren't you a couple?
C.  When you post a complaint, as you did yesterday, people want to know who's doing the complaining.
D.  They're not going to do that.
E.  Two reasons...some people are lazy, others are single, young, good looking female subs who are trying to control the amount of mail they recieve.

Finding a third is hard...good luck.

with some people my curiosity stops after looking through their profile, others i get the distinct feeling they don't care for me to say hi, and i'm shy~

there's a checkbox for "just looking for friends".   when not looking or "actively seeking" as they put it, everything else should be omitted but...

because they have very little to say about themselves, they don't think it matters, or they don't know what to say so they don't try.

a. o goodness, i usually save being snippy for the forums.  i am only short with a few people who choose to e-mail me, but usually based on their approach, and lack of interest in me as a person. 

b. i actually have a short attention span.   i generally read the lines above the scroll, if it doesn't get me by then it probably won't.

c.  if someone looks at your profile, you probably intrigued them in one way or another.  a naked woman on a rock appeals to my prurient interests, sorry, but, i am a bit of a pig.  if, however, i do not match your profile, i am unlikely to say hi, but Hi. 

d.  a number of people change their status from just looking, to i have found the love of my life, and then back to just looking more quickly than can be tracked.  and that would sort of fall into the category of saying "lets just be friends" to one and "i see my children in your eyes" to another.  it would tend to limit the possibilities.  as mentioned before, it is always a good thing to ask.

e.  good question.  there are probably as many answers as unfilled out profiles.  i have noticed that in those who do not want to be known, the "Pros", and the very new, as well as those who might be involved otherwise, but there seems to be no hard and fast rule with this.

If one receives many snippy replies, then one should look to what they are writing to cause snippiness, or look at who they are writing to.  Maybe the profiles follow a certain pattern and snippiness should be expected?

How do I know if anyone fits My criteria, unless I take the itme to do a search on their user name prior to opening an email?  Even then the profile may not let Me know if they will or won't.  As a result, I read all incoming emails.  But I may not reply...not even with a "thanks but no thanks".

NO!  I don't browse profiles Myself,  but if I got a note from everyone who viewed My profile (just the ones viewing My full profile on the "Who's Viewing Me" list), it would take too much of My time.  Please don't write to Me, unless you have something significant to say.  I don't need a bunch of "hi's in My email box.  I get enough already!

There is  a box for "friends only" on the site already.  What is it with people who think that they should dictate to the site about how these people (site owners), providing a completely free service, should spend  more of their time and money to make it more convenient for you to search.  Jeez!  Is it that much trouble to hit "next"?

Because people are lazy?  Because it is the internet?  because they probably, in many cases, will not even be around in a month?  It is a good benchmark for Me!  No one has an obligation to put in any more than they prefer.

People don't put all their requirements into their profile, if they read your profile and it has something they will not ever go for, then there is no reason to read an unwelcome email.

Because we aren't interested in meeting anyone. Because we didn't want to take the time to mark interests in roller coasters and such. Because it's up to the individual to decide what to do with their own profile.

A. Actually I always say "no thank you" when it warrants it.  But I feed off of the sender, if they are being a jerk, I will at first try to be "nice" if they continue I return in kind...so whether I"m snippy or not is totally up to them.

B. I'm taking it, you send an email and they don't reply so you are asking could they at least read your profile to see if you are a match.  If you click the envelope just before you open the email, then you can see their profile, and it will not show up on your "who's viewing me" list.   But I agree, if someone has the courage to send an email they should at least say "no thank you"  but this is the net, so....

C. As someone else said, I have far too many emails that only say, "hi"  I so hate these.  Besides I understand if someone opens my profile to see if we match, and they come to something that makes us "not a match" why would they contact me at all?  I don't cruise profiles, but sometimes in a bored moment, and a moment of procrastination from answering emails...lol,  I will look at those that viewed me or admirers....all might be fine, then I might get to the middle or end of the profile and see something that is a total "no no" for me....why would I contact them to say "hello", then they think I am interested? 

D. Been covered
E. There are loads of reasons why people's profiles are the way they are...way too many to speculate on in one evening.

As some have said, and as I have said...the best thing is to give a little rant in your journal, get it off your chest, leave it there, or leave it there for only a day or two, delete it and move on.  This is the internet and it's never going to be perfect....LOL

Because most of us follow our own rules, and have our own criteria for what we do on any given day.  If people don't like the result it really isn't our issue.  It is there own.

i left mine sparse on purpose.  i figured if the person interested *really* wanted to find out about me, they'd engage me in conversation.  i got a lot of "hi" messages.  that was it, one word.  and i did actually respond to all the messages i got.

i got a few longer conversations.  i got one person who was interested enough in me that we talked for hours each day, also emailed, also phone.  he ended up collaring me. 

i still get the occasional "what are you looking for" email from dominants who dont bother to read the first sentence of the profile, which clearly says i have an existing relationship that i am very happy with. 

kitten, who wonders why some dominants just look at the pictures and dont read.
