Even those with whom you disagree with have the right to free speech. Did it hurt your eyes so much that you were unable to put it down and grab something else to read ?
Tell me why it did not belong there, as long as the content was not pornographic.
I am not supporting anyone, in fact it was not even mentioned what the offensive material was, so a shot at me really is a shot in the dark. YOU say it should not be there. YOU say it is offensive. Well perhaps it is, and no matter what it is, if the first amendment should work for you, it should work for everyone.
If you can't stand that, and think that your opinion should get something removed, those with which you disagree have a similar right to ban what you say. It works both ways or it doesn't work at all.
I do not care how bad it was, if it offends you, put it down, it is not your's. Find something else to your liking.
If you can't do that you yourself have no right of free expression. If you think it is right to deny others that right, you simply do not deserve that right.
Again, I do not care what it was about. If you seek to suppress any opinion, you do not deserve the right to express your own.
Sorry buddy, but that is how it is. You must stand up for the rights of people with whom you disagree, and they should stand up for you. If we do not hang together, we shall surely hang seperately.
And you have not mentioned the horrible tragedy you saw on those accursed pages. Was it racist ? Was it anti Gay ? Was it anti Kink ?
AHA, that last one. There are alot of people who think that tying each other up for fun is sicko and decadent. They think it is wrong because they do not understand it. Those people would like to see any and all BDSM catalogs and equipment banned from sale everywhere in the world. What would you think if they somehow achieved that right over you ? Think you would like that ?
Now mind you CM is a controlled environment, but that is not true all over the planet. I have come to understand that over time and am refraining from mentioning a few things.
But out there is a pretty big world. You can't expect the same controls everywhere.
And I believe I actually erred, you should not just put down the offensive nmaterial, you should read it cover to cover and maybe even respond to the author(s). Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer.
So just what was it that hurt your eyeballs so much ? Just wondering.
