I'm looking for a collar to put on a male sub. Actually at this point I'm looking for two collars. One "good" collar for use in the bedroom, prefrably steel or leather. I don't want a posture collar. I'm also looking for one "dress" collar which he can wear outside the bedroom and which doesn't "out" us in the vanilla world. I am considering something like a choke chain with a dog tag on it that I can engrave with something like "owned". I would like it to either have a dog tag which I can engrave of have a lock on it of sorts, but nothing with a typical O ring for this collar, as I want to keep it fairly vanilla. I'm open to ideas.

I have checked out various websites and am still looking. I figured I would throw it out to the good people on CM to see if they had any specific links to collars that they loved.

Make the "dress collar" the inside lining for the "good collar" in which one links onto the other by some means. Just a suggestion?

As for the tags... you could try http://www.gotags.com/ It's kind of a fun place.

... i have a dog's collar which passes off as a choker to most people in public...
provided the catch is facing backward, so my hair covers it. still get some funny looks, though not many people care that much

I myseld have had dog tags made for my sub/wife one wich says "property of Master Earth" and another that says "Slut for one" These are military stlye dog tags which I had made at an amusment park but many a army surplus store has and can make them. and noone bats an eyelash at someone wearing military stlye dogtags.

as for bedroom collers I use www.taobytyler.com she does only custom work and can make collers acording to preferance.

Silverbunny, TrinityDejavu already sent you my link but I wanted to add that I also have engraved tags for my collars. If you decide on one of my collars, I'll throw the tag and engraving of your choice in free.

I had an idea for a new style collar over night.I think I'll call it the "Stealth" collar.It will be very similar to my other Stainless Steel collarsbut without a visible screw or hinge pin on one side.I already make a discreet magnetic collar that has no screwbut you do see the 1/8 inch hinge pin.
