I'm going to cheat and say the scene in the Life Of Brian that starts with Jesus preaching the beatitudes and ends with Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life

Apart from the bit with the alien spaceship, which was too far off even my radar.

Oh, GreedyTop, what have you DONE?

Oh, where to begin?

"A Spanking! A Spanking!" Castle Anthrax

"My Name is Ann Elk and this is my Theory." (Very obscure one)

"Mrs Niggarbaider's exploded!"
"Good thing, too"
"But she was my best friend!"
"Oh, Mother, don't be so sentimental. Things explode everyday."

"And you try to tell the young people of today that- they won't believe you"  Four Yorkshiremen

"Rule 6...There is NOOOOO rule six" Bruces

"Your Masjesty is like a stream of Bat's piss" Oscar Wilde Sketch

I could go on for days.......

Does anyone remember the album 'Matching Tie and Handkerchief'? It had three sides......

And a fine theory she has, too.  I'm quite sure she pioneered the theory of proportionality of prehistoric beasts, for it had never been proposed before.

"This is the theory that is mine..."

Remember the two washwomen who argue about existentialism, in the laundromat, in shrill Cockney falsetto?  And then they go to visit their good friend, Jean Paul Satre, so he can settle a dispute about it?  And they arrive at this apartment building in Paris, and all the names on the intercom are the only French celebrities anybody not-French knows, all in one building...Jacque Cousteau, Marcel Marceau,...

That's a classic.

Oh, thank you for knowing it! This sketch is a brilliant exercise in frustration.

Whenever one of my ums start dithering in a story, I go into this sketch. (I have mentioned what a weird mother I am).

Another obscure one is the "String Sketch" from the Contractual Obligation Album. Just the opening line is hysterical- Aaah, welcome to Mousebat, Follicle, Goosecreature, Ampersand, Spong, Wapcaplet, Looseliver, Vendetta and Prang!

The Spanish Inquisition

"NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again." ...
