Since there was a post about cute kittens, let me throw my hat into the cuteness ring.  Check out my profile for the latest additions to my family...two abandoned baby rabbits.  The last two pics on my profile show how adorable they are. [:)]

They are so precious.  I finally got them to eat this morning.  I'm glad my family used to raise them...they have a fighting chance now. [:)]

i work w/a woman that has her own rabbit rescue/she brought in a rabbit who was caught under a lawn mower.....arrrrrggghh!!  The rabbit was alive/taken to the vet. Lots of stitches/bald spots, but hopping around like it never happened!

I'm an animal lover at heart and I won't let innocent baby animals starve or die if I can help it.  I'm going to nurse them till they are able to fend for themselves, then I'll turn them loose.  Plenty of grassy fields and woods around my house to take shelter in.  I'm a softy at heart...Mistress is having an ooohing and ahhing fest with me right now.  LOL

Well, my cat stays outside.  That is one rat killing machine, though.  She was the main reason I brought the babies inside because she has killed a few rabbits in her life, so these little cuties would have been just a morsel for her.

Oh my goodness!  Oh my goodness!  That's all I could say when I saw those two cutie pies!  How ever will you release them?  I have rescuing down to an art; it's the releasing that I can't seem to master.  And oh how I love bunnies.

I once wanted to pick up a turtle on the road, but was scared I'd drop it and crack it.  On the return trip home I made myself look away in case the turtle had been killed.

Releasing them will be easy.  They are wild rabbits, so they belong outside running free.  It will be cool if they hang around my house after I release them.  I'd love to see them hopping around my back yard. [:)]

As for names, I haven't thought of any yet.  Any suggestions?  One male and one female...

After some deliberation, I decided on names for my bunnies.  I'll name the male Hades because he'll rule my back yard because he's the king of the underworld and I'll name the female Persephone because she was a gift from spring. [:)]
