As much as I enjoyed "Titans", I gotta go with "The Longest Yard" with Adam Sandler. Too funny!

the best is of a title i cant remember of an ugly girl nobody wanted and these high school football players make a bet and one had to date her and they end up falling in love at the end...it was a movie with spoofs of other movies within.

OP, I picked Rocky from your choices, but I would have voted for The Natural if it had been there. Brian's Song, Bang The Drum Slowly, Rudy, When We Were Kings, Pumping Iron, and Eight Men Out were all terrific sports movies.

Rudy never got a lot of critical praise, if I remember correctly, but I loved it. The underdog making good, warms the cockles of my heart, and ya'll know how I feel about my cockles. [:)]
