shysub0951 -> Cramps? (4/8/2008 4:32:09 PM)

i have this wonderful dildo that's pretty big and it's rubber. Anyways, when i go to use it i tend to cramp up, abdominally, really bad and have to stop. i can usually go for a few minutes before i have to stop completely. And it doesn't matter if i'm leaning against my bed, laying down in bed or elsewhere. And it happens whether or not i've eaten beforehand or not. Would anyone know the cause of this and how to possible either prevent it completely or at least so it's not so uncomfortable/more tolerable?
Thank you

Not enough details but it probably would not hurt to make an appointment with gynocologist and have an exam and ultrasound done just to ensure there are not physical problem like a cyst or tumor that may be causing as it can be one symptom of ...if all is clear medically it may just be a result of the size of the dildo you are using ... may need to start smaller and work your way up inorder to slowly stretch things

It could be hitting your cervix and that can cause cramping in some women.

How long are you using the dildo before you begin to feel a cramp comming on?

With a lack of details, I recomend the following steps prior to treating yourself. If they don't help by the end of next week, please see a gyno ASAP to be on the safe side.

Take a Potassium supplement

Drink more water

Eat large pickles for snacks

Do a walk or steping exercise for 5 minuets. You want it to be just enough to break a light sweat.

Do some crunches. 3 sets of 20 should be fine.

Do some adominal stretching.

Now have a fun time with your toy.

Let us know how it turns out.

FangsNFeet, i can use it for about 5 minutes before i start feeling all cramped up before i have to stop.

Maya2001: i do start off with a smaller vibrator and move up slowly to a medium before i venture on the larger dildo. i do that in part because i know that i can't just start straight off with the larger of the three.

FangsNfeet -> RE: Cramps? (4/8/2008 9:48:21 PM)

In that case, please try the remidies I've given you. It's a good guess that you're contracting your abdominal muscles to better get your G-Spot on the vibrator. This also happens when you use your body to go up and own on the vibrator thus giving your abdomal muscles a slight work out of fast paced mini crunches.

Water, potassium, magnisum, sodium suppliments accomadated with a few stretch/exercise routines will help allow your body to enjoy activities longer.

Please give these ideas a shot and give us a follow up in two weeks.

Thank you FangsNFeet, i will definetly try those and let you know what happens.

i'm going to agree with the cervix statement... if it's hitting and irritating your cervix, it's going to make your uterus contract. This causes cramping. Which means, you're going to have to find a toy that's better shaped for your body without the irritation, or another position to take the strain off this pressure point. Have you tried using it while you're on your knees, like doggy style? i have a tilted uterus, a result of pregnancy complications, and so i have to watch this problem myself. Being on my knees has helped me. Might be worth a shot for you. But either way, you should talk to a gyno about this just in case there's something wrong.

TwistedLeather: Have tried it doggy style yes, but it seems more difficult to actually get it in.

Attach it to something like a wall or a post that's at the right height?

This sounds correct.

DesFIP -> RE: Cramps? (4/11/2008 5:02:13 AM)

Is this the only rubber toy you have? Do you get the same problem from silicon or glass toys? I'm wondering if it's a latex allergy.

shysub0951 -> RE: Cramps? (4/12/2008 6:23:44 AM)

DesFip: i do have others that are rubber and have no problems with them.

TwistedLeather: Not sure i understand what you mean. Please clarify?
