devoT -> Recommended style of strapon? (4/8/2008 11:38:06 PM)

My wife wants a new strapon, one that is going to stimulate her (physically) as well. We've looked at the Feeldoe, but aren't sure... does it stay in, or do you still need a harness with it? Any other makes/styles that work for you?

You'll want a harness with a Feeldoe or similar product, unless she as Schwartzeneggeresque PC muscles. I keep thinking that as good or better, would be any of the three strap/G-string type harnesses, with something like those finger sleeves placed around the center strap, so that the thrusting motion would result in direct stimulation to the Domme.

Or something.

I'm not a fan of the feeldoe ... with or without a harness.. and I'm not even certain you can use it with a harness, its designed to be harness free...

that said, depends on the kind of stimulation she wants... she can insert something and still use a harness and strap on ... and if she wants clit stimulation, the thing to do is find one with a wide base.. so that it hits her just right when she's using it.. the more force for some, the better it might feel...

I think there are also models out there with little vibrating bullets in them...

Check out the Nexus.

I've had some good experinces on the business end of a vacu-lock system... although they still worry me, since they aren't flanged at the base.

It depends on what kind of stimulation she seeks. Can you be more specific?  I've test driven many strap ons.

I favor the double-ended type. I've tried most on the market, and I strongly prefer the Share. It's shaped a little better for G-spot stimulation, and it's more flexible than the others, which gives more effective length to play with in various positions. A further benefit is that my partner prefers the softer, (he says) more skin-like feel of the silicone used to make the Share.

I use a harness with all of them. They're heavy. The lady will get WET (oh yes she will) and the thing will slip out at the most inopportune moments. So, regardless of what the marketing materials say, use a harness. And with these, it's especially important to use one that rides as low as possible on the pubis.

Enjoy!

What harness do you reccommend to use with the share?

I don't know which commercial one to recommend. Mine's custom made of nylon webbing because I like to be able to throw it into the washing machine. Perhaps others will have a recommendation, but the Share is fairly new and I don't think it's all that widely used yet. I've tried most of the doubles on the market, and my harness works equally well with all of them; so whatever people use with the Feeldoe or the Nexus ought to work equally well with the Share.
