I was going to post this in another thread but didn't feel like hijacking. Plus, it's a rant, so it should go here in the stupidity thing. If you really wanna know, it't the "21 year old mistress" thread,. Freaking awesome. I explain my point of view as a pro sub, and wankers go and spam flag my profile until it is taken down. Thanks. If I was a whore, like some of you say I am, I'd go stand on the street corner in a ratty bra and a second hand miniskirt. But you know what? I'm not. I don't have sexual contact with the people I work with. I'll never, ever, have sex for money. I think the only refrence I have to being a pro sub is somwhere at the bottom of my profile, and a couple times throughout the journal when something cool happens, like meeting an awesome photographer or two through collarme. I'm not a hooker, I'm a fetish model, I'm a professional submissive. I get tied up, hit, and strung up from the ceiling for a living while I go to school full time, and I love it. I run my own business, I run my own website, I'm buying another business, unrelated to the kinky world, in November. I've worked with everyone to absolute novice doms (who are fun), to next month, the guys from Hogtied.com. So my question is, why do "Lifestylers" feel like they have to put down professional Doms/Dommes/Subs. Are you better than me? Prove it. I've met some awesome people at clubs and munches, and I've met people that wave their little opinion flag around so everyone can see, and damned if you don't agree with them, they'll beat ya over the head with it until you are too frustrated to deal with people any more.

Lynnxz, I never put anyone down and I don't see why anyone should. It's the proverbial "if it works for you..." What works for me might not work for you and that's fine. That thread is honestly enough to make me want to throw my hands up in the air and say "Whatever, I give up, fuck it" and leave CM. I can't stand ignorant people and it seems to be attracting so many of them... ugh. I just console myself by knowing that when it comes to these "older, wiser" types, no matter what their opinion of me is, I will be the last person to ever see them naked. My mistake. I misread your "That thread..." as "This thread..." and thought you were talking about the (relatively benign, imho) responses here. Skimming posts definitely takes a toll on my reading comprehension!

I think pro subs deserve an enormous amount of credit. I couldn't do it. I'm not capable of separating what I do from whom I do it with. And I couldn't trust someone to do what he said he was going to do, or that he indeed knew how to do it. You're a lot gutsier than I am. Oh, I have chocolate chip cookies here. Want one?
