Ok. It's time for me to look at buying my first strap on. Yay! Baby's growing up so fast! I have narrowed it down to these two (unless someone has other suggestions), because I really want a two-sided dildo that fucks me as I do the fucking. What I want to know, is if the Feeldoe really stays in place without a harness, and how much stimulation it gives you, or whether as a beginner, I should stick with a harnessed strap-on. Product reviews are welcome! kthanxbai.

Briefly, are you planning to be especially vigerous or not?  If you're planning to work it like a trip hammer, you're probably going to want to go with the Nexus.

I hope to be fairly vigorous at some point with it...point to Nexus.

The first (and only) strap on Mistress has used has been the feeldoe.  I can only comment on the receiving end, hehe, and can tell you i love it.  [;)]

It was purchased with a harness, but can see where it could be used without one successfully but again, that would depend on how umm vigorous you plan on being.

I am in extreme lust with my feeldoes. I just ordered the new "More" today in fact.

Also, you can wear a harness with them for greater stability if you find that is an issue. Email me on the other side if you want info on that.

DianeB is really the strapon queen here. She will give you good advice.

My vote is for the Nexus - although the feeldoe has been made slightly more "stiff", it's still too soft and wobbly a silicone for me.

You can also read the user reviews on babeland's sight for more input. Ha, "input"! I kill myself sometimes.

Go with the Nexus...

I agree, go with the nexus.

Ok, so I bought a "training" strap on and harness for my pet. I wanted to get one that wouldn't make him put up a wall, so I got a beginner "bend over boyfriend" style kit. It's worked out well so far, and I look forward to upgrading he and I to the Nexus soon! Thanks for all the advice!

spinntja -> RE: Feeldoe vs. Nexus (junior?) (4/19/2008 3:10:40 PM)

Feeldoe, absolutely. It does take some kegeling to use it without a harness, but then -- well -- you're kegeling, so you won't mind. Once things get going, it does tend to slip, but you can clench it and it slides back up (or pops out, but you'll learn quickly when it will need a quick finger assist). Maybe I'm just lucky, but mine tend to start slipping just about the time I start to want to start clenching anyway, so it all works out. I also happen to prefer the absence of straps.

Has anyone here compared the black and the purple, by the way? Any differences in sensation; in ability to hold onto it?
