I came here to make some online friends with gals who have kinks (not necessarily like me) and can relate with me. I send out a nice email to some with the intention of strikin up friendships, a couple have been wonderful by answering. Just curious how it is on your end. Do you get swamped with emails all day?

I don't get many responses from my ad, perhaps because I'm fishing in a smaller pool than my US counterparts. I haven't had any "I'd like to be friends" responses from anyone as yet. Plenty of "you will submit to me now" ones...blech.

It would probably be better, especially for the women, not to post a picture until their name is off the new member list. In fact, the new member list may not be such a good idea at all. As an experiment, I put up a dummy female profile. Within a few hours, it was swamped with emails. Only a handful nice. Most were silly, and a few downright scary. One was straight out of silence of the lambs - "it will email me back with its address telephone number and picture." Yeah right. I suppose he wanted some fava beans too.

ah, i am not trying to sound confident, or not confident or anything in my profile. I am just here to hang out and have fun, maybe make a friend or two along the way. Thanx for the advice though. :)

I used to get a lot, but I took the fetishy pics down, turned the profile into a 'go away and leave me alone' statement and have been automatically blocking anybody that contacts me specifically to serve. So, I don't get the volume I used to (thank gawd).

I've had two males who were both listed as straight contact me and refer to me as a female... now... that alone might be understandable given the fact that I do mention that I somewhat enjoy things to that extent... But, given the fact that when I responded to them and told them I was a guy, they both said thanks for being upfront and telling me that... well... It's kinda sad really that they didn't see that I was uh... male.

Since my profiles says i'm married to my Dom and not looking i don't get too many messages. Most of what i get is from the over 50 crowd wanting to chat about the lifestyle. I have also had a few from people with vanilla spouses wanting advice or a friend.

I've sent out a few "I'd like to be friends" but seldom get any response. Those that do just tell me what they are looking for in a sub/ Dom. As if I asked. If you would like to write Kiki send me a note. I'd enjoy chatting. I'm way over here in Canada. Australians are fun, I've been penpals with several of them over the years.
