I talk to my parrot anywhere in the house. He enjoys that. Tho I do it so much I fear I will do this in the grocery store- the office etc. LOL. im in trouble if i ever live in a nursing home. anyone talk to their pets? what do you say?

I have entire convos with The Cats..more Gracious than Amos, though. Gracious usually looks as if she's listening, and she talks back (varying tones of meows, 'chirrruping',etc). Amos just wags her tail and headbutts me, most often (I swear she thinks shes a dog, she certainly wags her tail like one!LOL)

neither of my girls claws me. Gracious will head butt me to sometimes, but more gently than Amos does. Gracious will also tap me to get attention (she'll use her paw to tap whatever body part she can reach..when I'm asleep, it's my nose...LOL) I have fish too. The fancy golds are pretty, but kinda boring. My female betta, same thing. But Bruiser, the male betta, has awesome personality! he likes to be petted :)

I talk to the cat, the turtle, the fish, and the recently acquired hamster. I used to talk to the dog. I talk to pretty much anything or anyone. There are no strangers with me. (More like me being strange.)

I had two friends who made a bet for four double whiskies each in a bar one night that they would each swallow two live goldfishes from the aquarium. They won the bet even though I screamed at them that the mercury in the goldfish is pretty noxious. Authentic. Put me off goldfish for life. Needless to say, the bar owner never found out :-( .
