Wow I thought this would get your attention,thanks for stopping by...As I sat this early morning with coffee and the computer some thoughts kept running thur my head,How our lives are influnced by the television ,It seems as theses minutes are idea for the old mind game.. Have you noticed how our sex lives revolve around so many different things..Those with ums etc and even ours revolveds around theses stupid reality TV shows,yes big brother and surviver and all those other shows that must be watched CSI etc...The point was driven home the other day when my baby IM me to remind me this was HER night,hell every night would be hers if she so desired.I have had many different women in here at different times and all of them have caught the reality TV bug,thats not so bad but hell over the last year or so they have all started to cycle together so there goes another 3 -7 days a month right out the old window...does it seems as tho I am venting No all said tongue in cheek smile....Would I change it all ,hell no for I am waiting on asshole to appeite and very happy and content...bounty

I suggest you turn your tv into a planter or ant farm or habitat for lizards and such. Get rid of tv and enjoy your own reality. Works for me.

I used to rearrange things to watch the first Survivor show, but that's the only time I did that. [8\|] There was a whole 'Survivor night' routine, early dinner. Popcorn and diet coke ready, phones off .There used to be a friend who literally arranged every bit of her time so that she could watch all of her TV stuff, she wouldn't go shopping or be out of the house until she checked NickTv (I think thats the name? All the old shows, I Love Lucy, Leave It to Beaver etc) and it just amazed me. I thought it was both weird and sad to be so obsessed with it. ETA:Getting excited for a favorite show or two is fine but she let it consume her life. I didn't want to sound like I thought all of those that love their TV were sad n weird!

I have friends that arrange their lives around their TV viewing schedule which I've never understood. I got rid of cable/satellite years ago and don't watch TV at all, except for the rare movie or show on DVD. The irony of that is that I worked in the cable/satellite industry for years! As for reality tv shows, I've never seen an episode of either Survivor or American Idol. I know, weird but true. [;)] Give me a good book or even better, a good conversation with a friend, any day.

as much as I do love the shows I watch (Law & Order, and its offshoots, West Wing when it was on...) I cant imagine sacrificing time with a loved one just to watch tv. Hell, since I've been back from the UK, my TV hasnt been on other than to check the weather channel. edited for spelling error

I don't get the appeal of the so-called reality shows. I keep my cable so when I do want to watch my shows (as mentioned above) I have the option to do so...

i don't remember the last time i watched tv, and i'm single lol. if my youngest wasn't living with me i doubt i'd even have a television.

ive never watched soap opera's unless you call friends and buffy the vampire slayer soaps. reality tv sucks shit....but i laugh so hard at americas most smartest model...those people are idiots....the one girl couldnt answer this question: "what is mary alice's last name" she was like...uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....ummm.....errr.... ALICE! and immediately got kicked off the show!

really the only time I watch tv is when Im watching sports. other than that, Im either here or doing something productive/ destructive depending on my mood.
