Tony,

First i have to tell you that i find your attitude...your outlook on life to be very positive and refreshing. I have enjoyed learning of you by reading your posts.
O.K...to your question. I just had a conversation with a gentleman the other day in which i told him about the evening that i particpated in 5 different activities that were each some type of "limit" for me. Needles, fisting, sounds, permanent piercing and cutting. Turns out i liked some more than others. I think that the real eye opener for me was after all was said and done...GUESS WHAT, i was still alive. This did not kill me. Uh oh....you know what that means? It means that there is not really much that i CAN NOT do. I may not want to do it...but i can do it! I may never really like or look forward to doing it...but i can and i will do it. All in all it was a very liberating, learning evening. And i tell you i sure was surprised how much i enjoyed the cutting i received...after all i am afraid of knives and use nothing sharper than a butter knife for food preperation. But show me that scalpel now....and i get all wet.

Peace,
cathy

quote:

Hello There,
This seems very related to your other thread to me.
I can say before this past February I had the desires to be wilder my whole life. I held back so I could be what every one else thought I should be. Since February I've decided to make myself happy first. I do what makes me happy as long as it does not hurt any one else. If others are offended by my choices that don't affect them it's there problem now, not mine.
I do the things now I use to only dream of. I feel very free and liberated.
I say follow your dreams. As long as you like yourself and have peace who cares what others think is right or wrong.
Sincerely,

I find myself enjoying & learning from your forum responses & posts - and when reading this it hit home. My realization took place a bit longer ago, but we share a similiar viewpoint on how we choose to live. I will simply add - not only follow your dreams - but be true to yourself and follow your soul!

In response to the OP - yes.., there are things I had thought I had no interest in or would not have an interest in that I now find myself craving after a brief introduction or simply finding myself exploring thoughts & desires that are ever changing and evolving.

As far as open to 'just about anything' - while respecting my hard limits - there are few boundaries I not welcome the right one to push and expand.

And JohnWarren - thank you for sharing the TENS unit & violet wand info. That too is an area I never thought was an interest until discovering the effects of electrical sensations on me while having laser hair removal sessions. Interesting how some discoveries are made.

Thank you for all replies... And thank you to those of you who have shard your thoughts, and situations.

At this time I am not open to all lifestylers... Be it slave, sub, tops, and or switches. I am going to follow my dreams and desires. I very much enjoy all sides of the lifestyle, and am glad I found it as I have so many things that I very much hope and desire to explore with others.

Wish me luck, I wish each and everyone of you the best in this life, and what ever comes after to follow.

I think that is pretty common - something called "growth". I had one thing that was a limit, let us refer to it as Action X, and a few years down the road I was having fantasies about Action X like you would not believe. I don't normally look for something more, as I have everything I could want, and seldom look for something different, because I am so content. But personal growth is always a good thing.
