As you've probably noted already, I'm not big on "politically correct", though I am big on "does it say what I mean it to say". grins Some of the PC stuff out there is just plain foolishness, meant to salve sorry egos who really want to believe that everyone owes them something, and that we should all be dipped in ochre and gagged so that we can't tell one another apart by look or word, because the theory is that that makes everyone feel like they belong. When I was still active in the SCA, we used mundane or mundanities to desrcibe all things not pertaining to our medieval character or activities, it was simplty a seperation of the two just like many RPGers will use the term "OOC" (out of character). Used in the correct sence and without any snide comments added to it vanilla should be seen as the same, however some with either low self esteme, overly inflated egos or just lacking maturity will always make what ever term is in current use an insult to people or practices not the same as they practice.. This, sadly will continue unless a few of us don heavy armour, shield, broad sword and a maxe or two and commence personality adjustments. (One of my T-Shirts has the words "I was hired to re-adjust your personality. It wont take long and will only hurt if you survive." Funny, no one has ever asked me to explain it to them yet.....maybe it's my aftershave....

neither is better than the other, just some like chocolate and some like... well.... vanilla! lol. But I suppose kinksters see life differently, which can either be a gift or a curse
