While the first thing I listened to this morning was the classic Sizzla record Royal Son of Ethiopia. I mostly listen to various Jamaican styles, funk, rare grooves and jazz, but growing up in Southwestern Ontario in the 60's and 70's, I listened to all kinds of rock n' roll. Lately I've been digging wee blasts from the past. I just listend to Alternative Ulster by all time favourite Irish band Stiff Little Fingers. There's an amazing video on youtube that someone put together, but some cretin flagged it as inappropriate so you might have to log in. It seems non-partisan videos are not for public consumption. While worth checking out if you have Irish blood or are curious enough.
