Bundle and then duct tape around the sharp parts...

Speaking of garbage, did you know that teenagers cannot see garbage cans? They're like bats, they fly right on by, and not even peripherally can they sense them. You can even tell them, "it's right THERE, you walked right past it, and they'll just look at you like you're crazy. True stuff.

That is SOOO true!!

(I tried to put a SMALL bag of them out at the curb... the trash guys left them, but the bag was even more shredded than it had been when I finally got free of the evil bastards.. I bet they attacked the trash guys too!)

so true...

they also have no concept of how to handle a full kitchen trash can. None. You explain it to them time after time but they still cannot understand how it works.

You know those people in the news that just snap and do something crazy? The ones that friends and family are interview saying, "We never saw it coming! (S)he was always so reasonable and calm!" ...those people were attacked by the wire hangers while trying to rescue the socks from the hole in the universe that sucks them up!
