"Unlike the Senate bill, which includes a tax credit of up to $7,500 for purchasers of foreclosed properties,..."

Yup, that's definitely going to help all of those people who are suffering from foreclosures.

And Senator Dodd (D), the main sponsor of this bill even has the gall to call it the "Foreclosure Prevention Act".

I thought this was going to be for individuals not Home Building Corporations like Toll Bros a "high end builder."
Also, they set aside $100M for "counceling", I could "councel" people, how do I get a piece of that or does that money go to Corporations too?

That's not even the worst of it....how about GM, Ford, and Chrysler benefiting from the Foreclosure Prevention Act?

Sugar, I'm glad to know that eventually you'll comment on this thread with an "I told you so."

I think it's pretty obvious that Corporations have hi-jacked our government and that it (govt.) no longer works for or belongs to the people.
Toll Bros and KB Homes are publically traded companies, let their stockholders take the hit!
Instead, they want the Taxpayers to bail them out?
I believe that Thomas Jefferson had some very specific thoughts on situations like this.
I've got my pitchfork and torch ready.
