i come around because i sometimes feel the need to put in my 2 cents, and i like trying to determine what and why my 2 pennies are what they end up being. every question i read or answer makes me question myself, i feel like it helps on my awareness to both read other views, as well as try to understand my own. i also like that CM certainly has a higher IQ rating as a whole when compared to many other forums i frequent.
what keeps me coming back is pretty much the same as any other forum, i like a lot of the the people posting, i like the community.
as for the higher post count, i don't look to them for guidance or see them as knowing what they're talking about, but that their opinions are less likely to be challenged, where most anything a newbie says is going to be wrong, and in so many cases they are looked at like "who the hell are you, you don't know what you're talking about". post counts often get treated as seniority or superiority for some reason, when really it's pretty much like site counters, it seems like a neat idea, but no one in fact cares. useless numbers. honestly, i miss my ice cream.
