Frasier. There were some episodes that were so perfectly comedic. I probably laughed out loud at that show more than I have with any other. (And I hope this choice slightly redeems me from picking South Park in the other poll.)

Good morning, pretty lady. I loved the show. Especially Niles, truly one of the best characters on television.

I haven't voted 'cos with the exception of Raymond I think all the the shows have their moments. Frasier is absolutely exceptional. Superb IMO. The interplay between Frasier and Niles is memorably funny and with Roz and his father pretty good.. The show offered lots of scope for female sit com actresses to shine. I liked Bebe,Lilith, Charlotte and the small parts those actresses had when Charlotte got Frasier some inappropriate dates. I am up to speed on the show because I watch it daily on Paramount comedy in the UK. As I Brit I thought the Daphne character didnt fit at all and her family just jarred on me. Overall I love the show.Changed my mind I'm going to vote for Frazier. Just noticed the Fresh Prince is there. A disaster if ever there was one. I admit I havent seen much but it always struck me as basically being an excercise in race relations. Am I wrong?

Frasier was damn good television, but the first few seasons of Roseanne made me laugh very hard. Dan saying "We quit??? I thought we were just out!"

I agree that Roseanne was pretty good. Especially since it focussed on blue collar concerns. But mein Gott the actress Roseanne Barre (sp?) is a nasty piece of work IMO. I think she got away with it because she espoused "correct" feminist attitudes. Not really sure why, but she did. I mean get way with her nasty demeaning behaviour.

Another tough one. Frasier, Rosanne, Mash, and Cheers...I picked Cheers. Loved Niles. I saw David Hyde Pierce star in "Curtains" on Broadway and he was hilarious.
